My Brother and his wife aremoving back down to Tampa Florida to be closer to the grand kids in a few weeks.

He asked me to haul a 900 pound 5X8
U-haul enclosed trailer with a 400 pound piano and 200 pounds of boxes down for him. All expenses paid. 640 miles from his place. Then a no trailer run back.
I can’t wait should be fun to see the few surviving wild bro’s I used to hang with.

Plus there’s an old girl friend down there. She’s 75 and still hot. She’s looking for a day with me. It should be epic.
Yeah my wife knows all about her.
She lives at Paradise Lakes less than 10 miles from my bro’s new digs, we’re gonna drink Margaritas and sun our buns at the big pool.

Towing my 2200# Lund at 65-70 I usually see 18 mpg, I expect you may be down in the 15-16 range.

Ok I’ll hold at 70. My loaded trailer will be just below 1600# but it does have a flat front.
I’d like to see 17-18 mpg.
I think I’ll throw the 200 pounds of boxed stuff in the truck bed.
That will put the loaded trailer at 1300# ish.

With the different suspension and extra drivetrain weight of the Tremor, aren't you only ably to carry under half of what the other models can carry? That limit includes people and tongue weight.

OK, here are the facts. Using my 2024 Lariat Tremor as an example, my trucks shipping weight was 3685#. Per the door tag, GVWR is 5060#, allowing 1375# for people and cargo. Total GCWR is 6175#, or a total of 2490# in people, cargo and trailer in addition to base vehicle weight.

Rated 2,000 # tow like every other Maverick without the 4K package. Tremors have the better cooling toys already for slow off road work so I’m good.
Total loaded trailer is only about 1300 pounds but I’ll likely shoot for 200 pounds on the hitch

10-11% tongue weight is only 130-150. I think closer to 200 would be wise, since I am an inch higher and tuned for more articulation by just a tad.

Who knows ?
In Tow/Haul mode pulling 2300-2500 rpm at 70 mph in 7th gear the Turbo will be in its sweet spot. For no particular reason I may see 18 mpg.
And it may pull hard enough to settle into 8th gear at 70.
Matters little because I can help the engine with my paddle shifters.

I expect this Tremor to pull this little trailer like a freight train.

The RDU from the Tremor not available in any other trim
Regardless of AWD or not

And my Tremor is really badazz when crawling up steep loose gravel in Off Road Mode.
