I have 2500 miles on my Tremor and have yet to see the advertised mpg.

Typical: 21 mpg with 70/30 city/highway.
Best: 24.5 mpg during a 500 miles nearly all highway trip @ an avg 75 MPH.

During the aforementioned trip, I tried both 87 and 93 octane and saw only very marginal difference (1 MPG on the high octane).

I do not have a Tonneau cover (yet) and so that might help a little.

I admit that I don't drive under the speed limit, but I don't see how my Mav will ever get >25 MPG. There are a range of reports here regarding Tremor MPG, and so the only explanation is that the performance of the Tremor pkg is VERY sensitive to driving habits.

I'm watching Tremor MPG closely as my decision time arrives. The quoted numbers are just too low for me to accept so it has been promising to see a number of others getting great results like OP.

I'd be satisfied with 25mpg combined driving.
Very little city driving-live 10 miles from town on 2 lane hilly road-my total since delivery in Dec-about 1500 miles-is 26.1.

Definitely probably have a little more City driving than you - but I take the scenic route into downtown (EV life) on a 45mph 2 lane road until I hit the innerbelt for a 1 mile on ramp and 1 mile freeway run to the next exit.

Running that loop had me getting 18.6 mpg hand calc in my 2.3EB Bronco Sasquatch.

My HWY MPG is solid at 28-30mpg depending on speed. However in city I average 24 on the dot.
Not sure how that happened but that is dope!

Good to hear, thanks! Not 100% sure yet, but thinking about ordering a MY24 Tremor and think it might be worth it to add the Eco and Sport modes. Out of my comfort zone though.
Its not hard at all. I just did it and added Eco and Sport mode to my Tremor. Love the sport mode but not seeing any difference on Eco mode yet when it comes to MPG.

Jeez, what am I doing wrong that I only get 19-22 MPG in the city? I usually get about 24-26 on the interstate. Most of the time i’m right at 20 just driving around town. I don’t necessarily drive the speed limit, but it seems like everyone else gets a lot better milage in their Tremors over mine. I don’t have a ton of accessories either, just a shackle hitch and a tonneau cover

It is just the differing driving styles that explain the differences between vehicles. I got 23+ mpg in my 97 ranger for years and after selling it to my brother, he can't manage more than 21 mpg.

The computer estimate on the screen is always high. Calculated via gallons pumped on an individual tank can be high (or low) by 20%. Or in this case 4 or 5 mpg.

The only reliable and trustworthy MPG is the average of many tanks. For example:

Error in one tank: up to 20%
Error in two tanks: up to 10%
Error in three tanks: 6.7%
Error in four tanks: 5%
Error in five tanks: 4%

And so on.

my wife's 2.0L 2020 Escape had an instantaneous fuel consumption display option. using it is sort of like the blue bar in a hybrid.

New to the forum having just bought a Tremor one week ago. Computer showing 24.5 mpg after 300 miles. Friend of mine has a non-Tremor XLT for a year and averages 31 mpg.
I was lucky getting my Maverick when I read the stories on this forum about the wait and dealer mark-ups. Whoever ordered my truck decided not to take it and I jumped on it. Was not looking for a Tremor but that is what dropped in my lap. Only drawback to the Tremor that I see is the 2,000 lb. towing.

Let me guess. You generally follow the posted speed limit and occasionally are found driving slightly under it? Im also guessing that you are not the first person racing away from every stoplight? Sounds about right to me. No way a couple hundred pounds of added weight, only slightly more offroadworthy tires, air dam removal, and 0.8" lof lift could cut fuel mileage by 6mpg. 2 or 3 mpg maybe, but only Dukes of Hazzard fans can make a Tremor or any Maverick average low 20s.

Personally I have mixed driving styles. When my wife (or the dogs or anyone really)is in the car, I drive like my dad and my CDL instructor taught me. When I'm by myself, I drive exactly how I taught Hooper to drive.

That was a great movie, my favorite scene was putting on the helmet & running into the jukebox!

Same here. I am seeing the same performance as you. 19-20 city, 24-25 highway (more like 23 if I travel >75 MPH) . I hope the tonneau cover adds 1-2 MPG on the highway.

3600 miles on Tremor, 22 to24 around town, 26 to 28 highway. Best trip 30.4, worst trip into a 50 mph headwind with a BMW GS in the bed 13.7.

It's not high if you adjust it in test mode. Have mine within .5 mpg from measuring and calculating. And it's usually less but I'm not messing with it any more.
