I had the original that hyperflashed and Lasfit replaced those with their new version about a year ago. The new version worked well for a while and then started to hyperflash sometimes. I could live with the hyperflash but I started getting people honking at me or pulling up alongside telling me...
Now I understand. The window closes up against the bottom of the vent and stays there to keep the vent in place. If you want to close the window all the way you have to remove the vent.
I was thinking the vent stayed in place in front of the window at all times and in all weather and did not...
Are you talking about the Mabett window vents? I think you are talking about something else. The purpose of the Mabett vents is to be able to open rear windows. I want to know if water comes in when the windows are closed with the Mabett window vents installed
Forget buffeting, can someone who actually has these installed answer a simple question - do they leak in rain even if window closed all the way.
The person who posted this thread (White Thunder) never answered the question if his windows were open when water came in.
I am still wondering if the person who originally posted this had the windows open.
If the windows were open a little and water got in, I am fine with that.
If the windows were closed all the way and water gets in then they, to me, are useless. I do not want to be putting them on and off each...
So are you saying that with any of the above, Sylvania Zevo, Diode Dynamics, Morimoto or GTR, I will still have the hyperflash unless I use Forscan? I do not have or would know how to use Forscan.
I am stopped using the last version of Lasfit. They would sometimes hyper flash when first put on turn signal and then stop hyperflashing. That did not bother me so much but then twice I had cars pull up next to me and tell me the brake lights were not working. That is a big problem. Wonder if...
I had the original Lasfits and they hyper flashed but functioned and worked properly. When I heard about the new T3's I wrote to Lasfit and they sent me a free set. Put them in and they worked. Once I had the latest recall done (about 2 weeks ago), they would hyper flash for 2 or 3 blinks and...
I have Weize in one of my motorcycles going on 2 years. Bought on Amazon over 2 years ago. Bike has not blown up or caught on fire yet (fingers croosed).
For cars, I always buy from Costco. Great warranty, great battery. They sell Interstate Batteries and usually in the $125.00 price range.
