When changing the transmission fluid on the 2.0, looks like the airbox must be removed to get to the trans vent/filler. Could someone make a longer version that would reach up to the top of the engine somewhere ? Seems that would speed up things the second fluid change.

Yeah the stock airbox is lame- I upgraded to the S/B unit and can pull the filter housing pretty easily now - The 2025 models completely moved all of the intake to the other side of the engine creating a ton of room where the transmission vent is now -

There is a disc inside the rubber extension with a very small hole in it's center. You are suppose to remove the extension (not the cap) to fill the transmission.

Keep in mind that wherever you raise the vent to is where the ULV mist is going to collect... I'm okay with it being way down low, out of sight.

IMHO, in the grand scheme of things, removing the airbox is nothing compared to removing a front wheel, leveling the truck on jacks, getting the transmission up to temp, and all the other fine points of the fluid change.

Yes. Remove the clamp, not just the cap. Though if one was going to raise the cap 12" or something like OP is suggesting, that little white baffle is probably not needed anymore, because nothing is going to splash up that far... hopefully. 😀

The Tremor has an extended vent hose.

Curious if it really still has the baffle near the transmission end.

Can Tremor owners fill at that location?

Good question. I suppose a longer vent would negate the need for the restriction.

The airbox only takes a minute or two to remove. Just a couple fasteners and a hose clamp.

Here is a picture of the blockage in question inside of that tube. You'd be standing there all day trying to fill the transmission through it.

On my last change, I left the air box in place and filled through the leveling plug with a pump.

Drive truck up on four ramps (level), drain fluid and refill through leveling plug. Drive around to get up to temp, then back up on the four ramps and reopen leveling plug to let drain to proper level. Think it's quicker, easier, and gets the same result.

That sounds like a good idea. What kind of pump do you use ?
Thanks

The vent tube doesn't bother me, I wish the transmission had a damn dipstick.
