I think you can program in the top speed. Or I read something about that. You can govern top speed. Maybe some others can chime in that have knowledge about this.

I also dropped the hitch on my XLT Hybrid hoping to get it built faster. I ordered mine in September of 22, was rolled over to a 24 and took delivery of it December 2. I still have mixed feelings about dropping the hitch but probably never would have towed anything.

I'm going to put another strip of weather stripping down both sides on the actual trifold, next to the original weather stripping, there is room. I can also see some places that need filled in with some stripping or plumbers putty. Then see what happens the next rain we get.

Mine have nuts, and washers, but you don't have to remove them to completely remove or release to fold back the panels. Waiting for a hard rain to see how weatherproof it is. My dealer deducted the $3400 private offer off the retail price of my stock 2023 to 2024 XLT rollover. I can see where a unsrupulous dealer or salesman might try to pocket your private offer. Contact Ford directly.

I picked mine up today. After a year and a half. Pretty standard deal. Ordered XLT stock. After driving it, it's a little larger than I expected. Cactus Grey looks nice to me.
