I've had a few flash their headlights at me when going the opposite direction at speed on 2 lane road.

Didn't notice their vehicle at first and was thinking their might be a speed trap ahead.

Today you are talking about a low end, mass market vehicle that is getting ever more ubiquitous.

There aren't many Mavs around here but I've surpringly had a few waves. The Area 51 blue is pretty easy to spot from far away I suppose because I've missed many coming in opposite lanes.

I waved at a couple of Mav's last week and they looked at me like I was an alien from another planet.

Probaby are stunned by the sight of another Maverick. They're scarce in my area.

It's not the colour, the Maverick just doesn't stand out from the front while driving. Due to the headlight design it looks like an old truck that someone put aftermarket LEDs into.
