This definitely depends on your location. I'm in the Wilmington, DE area and I've been looking for Mavs in the wild here even before I placed my order last September. The first Mav in the wild that I've seen was a few days after taking delivery. I waved, but I don't think the other driver saw me because he was making a left (from oncoming traffic) in front of me, so was probably being a responsible driver and watching where he was going and for moving vehicles, instead of gawking at stopped traffic.This is the correct answer.
A year ago it was interesting to spot a mav in the wild.
Today you are talking about a low end, mass market vehicle that is getting ever more ubiquitous.
Nobody cares anymore.
