If you look at your window sticker, on the top it said "rail" (or something similar). Not sure if that will change when the truck is unloaded to the car haulers. Then, the "pizza tracker" showed shipped.
ah, gotcha. i wondered if you’d gotten the DORA and tracked it down on the railcar itself (per this thread: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/🧭-maverick-build-tracking-links.2882/). i’m gonna bug my dealer for mine; fingers crossed that it’s getting close!

Well while I wait for Hybrid Order I saw my local dealership Bob Utter Ford had a XLT Luxury Package Eco Boost FX4, 4K tow, Co-pilot 360, Manual Rear Sliding Window, bed mat, and all weather mats. So I had to test drive it and it drove like dream, so smooth and quite. I am still going to wait on my Hybrid, but if anyone is wanting to get one now they are still selling that bad boy just at 3,000 over MSRP. If you want it at MSRP they are offering that for custom orders. Ask for Matt Orr, he was the one who placed my order for my Hybrid and has been super helpful through out this whole process. He will give it to you straight, real good sales men, highly recommended him to get you set up with your Maverick needs. Bob Utter Ford is in Sherman, TX about 30 minutes north of Mckinney.

Got in this game way late, Maverick completely flew under my radar as I was shopping Tacomas hard. Got my November Consumer's Report mag, article caught my eye "The Small Truck Revolution", one of the three trucks highlighted was the Maverick - I was on the hunt hard after that...

Got told "that one was a customer order" and "you just missed it" many times, seasoned with one deal where the dealer put a hold on it for me, and then after it comes in it suddenly has a $5k markup, cool - take me off your list....

Found another one inbound, turns out to be a dealer order, they refuse to take any deposit. But they happily agree to write it up and mark it sold - no signature, no down payment, just a phone call and a couple text messages.

Truck came in this morning (4 hour roundtrip), I drove up this afternoon and it took all of 1 hour and I drove off the lot in my new Carbon Gray XLT, AWD with moonroof. MSRP + TT&L. No pressure at any point, deal smooth as a baby's butt, and paperless to boot (all docs on a thumb drive, finance dudes desktop is a touch screen, crazy!).

About 3 1/2 weeks, but I got er done. So, if you are also late to discover this truck there is hope.

Live in Johnson County, South of Fort Worth.
Dealer is Holiday Ford in Whitesboro, salesmans name is BJ (Ronald Banks), 940-284-9253

I'm an AZ-Plan buyer and fortunately get the special pricing which will be under factory invoice, less any possible rebates. Ordered Iconic Silver Hybrid XLT, Luxury Pkg, & Ford 360 Pkg on 10/18 from Five Star Ford in Dallas. My info at the time was that the two packages would not constrain the building time at all. From what I have gathered I'll be fortunate to take delivery by March!

Dealer ordered Maverick XL.

A few weeks ago I did a local search for available Mavericks. I found several that DFW and East Texas dealers were listing. One intrigued me because it was close to what I ordered so I contact Wills Point Ford about their listing. It wasn't available then but it was scheduled for build.

Yesterday, I got a call from Wills Point Ford and they offered me the Silver AWD XL, 2.0, Moonroof, Ford 360, 400W outlet, floor liners w/o carpeted mats, and trailer hitch. MSRP of $26, 515. I was supposedly #1 on a list of 8 people who had inquired about the truck. I was sorely tempted, but turned it down since my Velocity Blue XL similarly equipped is due Nov. 11 to 19th.

Here is the link: https://www.willspointford.com/all-...2dbe625c63&year=2022&make=Ford&model=Maverick.

Did I make a mistake?

A Bluebonnet Special, Twister Special or High Country Special would be cool.

I've noticed in reading through several threads that there are a bunch of us Texans who have either ordered a Maverick or are about to. I thought it would be interesting if all Texans would list their location (city or town), the dealer they are working with, what build they have already ordered or have in mind, and anything else that might be interesting or helpful to fellow Texans. I think good dealer experience would be helpful to others as well as dealers you would not recommend. Not sure if this is allowed in the forum rules to talk bad about specific dealers but we'll soon find out!

I live in a golf course community known as Holly Lake Ranch. It is a very pretty place nestled in the Piney Woods of east Texas, roughly half way between Shreveport, LA. and Dallas, Texas. All the dealers around here are small, country mom and pop businesses. If you go to the "city" such as Longview or Tyler, there are a few bigger dealerships but I have found them to be no better than our more rural "locals". I ordered my Lariat from Texas Country Ford, Winnsboro, Tx. Once they got the hang of the Maverick ordering system they did very well and I have received confirmation from Ford that my order has been accepted. I have already recommended them to several forum members here in Texas looking to order a Maverick.

Another reason for my starting this thread is that I recall my early days at the Honda Ridgeline forum about 15 years ago where threads like this were started in various states. We Ridgeline owners would often get together for lunches and compare and show off our Ridgelines, mods and accessories. We all learned a great deal from each other. We would also go to car shows and do various other things as a group and the Ridgeline caravan was quite impressive. It was a good time and some of us even went on hunting trips together and shared other interests. Maybe something social like this can happen down the road with Texas Maverick owners. Anyway, Texas Mavericks is a cool name (not only for the basketball team) and deserves a thread of its own - so here it is Texas!!!
I'm in North Richland Hills , near Ft Worth. On 9/6 I ordered my truck. I have tweaked the build more than a few times! Final order is Cyber Orange Hybrid Lariat, Luxury, added window deflectors, floor trays (no carpet) and now am going to maybe add hard tonneau cover. Just don't know whether trifold or roll up or if it's better to wait and buy aftermarket and wonder if metal is available?? Opinions welcome!

Just ordered mine yesterday. Wife made me spring for the XLT just for the cruise control. I've never ordered a new truck and she convinced me to get a few things that I'd like:
- XLT Hybrid
- 400W Inverter
- Protective Film
- 360 CoPilot
- Molded Splash Guards
- and my most expensive option, something called "Destination & Delivery"

Super excited.

Ordered 8-12-2021 CG/XLT/Hybrid - Corpus Christi dealer.

I've had a Dodge Ram 1500 and an F150 back when I had rental properties to deal with. I'm looking forward to the trucklett.
I put in an order with a local guy here in CC, and I don't think he ever did it (just never got a confirmation from Ford about it). I just kept searching and found one available in SanAn that someone didn't pickup and did that.

Hopefully yours will make it in soon! Haven't seen another in the area yet! Looking for more!

I have a base Bronco6 on order. Waiting to see which one comes in first. Most likely the Bronco will due to the hybrids not being pushed out yet. I reserved a Bronco July 2020 but was really intrigued by the Maverick with 500 miles to a tank!
