I think about my January order almost every day and I must say hope feels foolish at this point.

If Ford would ever just say how many orders there are and how many remain unscheduled, my guess is all of us still waiting would 🤮!

Bottom line: my truck ain't coming. Yours probably isn't either. At least not anytime soon.
A month ago I posted here and on Facebook about Ford finally sending out an email to everyone that all unscheduled trucks getting rolled over to a 2023 by the end of June/early July. With a recent email from Ford saying to expect an update later this month...I'm feeling pretty good about my estimate.

There are people that have only recently got scheduled and have a build date of early August. Meaning they probably won't get it until early October. Who wants a current model your vehicle in October when brand new ones come out a month later?

At this point, I would WANT to be rolled over.

actually in my experience, "order processing" is a catch all status after your order is confirmed internally with proper ROVP. It is likely still at whatever priority was assigned by your dealer at time of order. The next step is "unscheduled clean" and Priority can be changed by regional team- and this status allows your order to previewed for scheduling. You won't get a VIN or scheduled before this.

My order was Dec 15 and I was priority 19 from dealer and confirmed properly submitted with CSR giving me "order processing" when I would call 1x per month. Then early April it changed to "unscheduled clean" and my priority set to 2 by regional team. Supposedly only waiting for allocations with 1 in front of me at dealer. The 1 ahead of me went into production a couple weeks ago.

Maybe check your priority level and see where it stands if you haven't already before deciding they aren't building your truck?
No, you can't get schedueld at Priority 10. But 10 is as high as your DEALER can move you. From there, only the regional reps can bump you up to a 2. So, the only advantage of being moved from 19 to 10 is that -- theoretically, at least -- it moves you ahead of other orders AT YOUR DEALER. Then, when your dealer has allocation and the regional rep goes to pull order from your dealer's list, you should be looked at first. However, if you have constraints like I do (XLT Luxury Package), then you may still get passed over in favor of other orders that are more basic. But hey, I'm doing what I can...

My sept. order just got moved to 7/4. This is the fourth time in 6 weeks. It actually started production 2 weeks ago for a day then was out of production the next. I hope they can get enough parts for all of us. I have to believe that they are trying in these hard times that were in now.
I had the exact same situation. I am supposed to build next week. Hope lives...until it doesn't.

I was shocked yesterday when my Ford dealer called me and told me my Jan 28 order is in production! It is a Hybrid XLT with Copilot360 and Lux package. I did not expect this at all!

Being in production is one thing, staying there is another. Good luck.

Mine took 7.5 months. Not time to feel defeated yet.

Gee, I ordered a Hybrid XLT with Copilot 360 and the Lux package on August 13, and I am not in production yet. I am not shocked.

The dealer did offer to sell me two EB Mavericks at $5K over MSRP. Another dealer offered to sell me an XL EB for $10K over MSRP.

I feel like I am in a bait and switch marketing scheme.

Am I the only one that thinks that the 2023 Mavericks will cost $5K more than the 2022 models?

It seems like a uniquely frustrating situation until you check out https://www.bronco6g.com and see people who have been waiting 2 years on their order in some cases. I think the auto industry will see repercussions down the road as people leave brands they've supported for years because of poor customer service and dealer shenanigans.

It's a tough time, but the perceived lack of communication gets outsized in a world where people obsessively track the status of everything on their smartphone. You can look at a live map of your Amazon driver cruising around the neighborhood until they stop at your house. Totally unnecessary and kind of unnerving that people would want to know that much detail. That being said, if you ordered this truck 20 years ago, and you called your dealer every other week or every month for 6-8 months with no update on your build, plenty of people would walk away and shop another product.
I removed Facebook from my life 3 years ago. I don't need to know that much about my friends or family. I Cut the cord 2 years ago, only stream. I don't watch cable news networks. I don't need to know about all that I can't do anything about. I'm pretty much stress free now. Its heaven. I don't even stress about my truck. I'll get it when I get it.

I definitely have a confirmed order and my dealer has acutely been pretty good about answering my questions. Unfortunately thy don't have much to offer.

I check with Ford chat each week. As of today I'm still in "Order Processing" which basically means waiting to be assigned a VIN and scheduled.
Can you lead us that don't know yet to Ford chat?

Had to have gotten in early. I ordered mine mid/late August....still took 4 months to get it. Felt like longer since I had been scoping it out for months before. Advice from me to you, just be patient. Easier to say than do, unfortunately. Human nature. The weight is worth the payoff though.

There are the different stages of waiting for the Maverick after you order. My dealer told me about 8 weeks (ignorance, lying, ?). That was the excitement stage. Then there's the wtf stage when you get the reality check mixed with a little anger at the world over the state of things. Then resignation because you can't maintain the previous level of emotion and you feel damn powerless. Patience is not an option, it's requirement. That's where I'm at now. Don't know what's next, I'm at almost 7 months for my XLT. What's next?

My August '21 order has no movement. Area 51 Lariat Hybrid First Edition with a ton of options. I probably optioned myself out of MY22. I'm a picky person unfortunately. :(

I understand the pain, but it gets worse! I accepted waiting this entire time but once you get scheduled and your build date gets moved, moved again, and again, and again. It hurts worse.
I hope you get scheduled soon!
