Test drive at the factory

My 2024 EB AWD arrived on the trailer at the dealership with 18.8 miles, but no indication as to why? I asked the salesman, but he had no idea why it arrived with so many miles.

Our 2025 had 18 miles on it as well. No test drive sticker, although the detail guy could have removed it.

They did with mine also, but the sticker was removed by the dealer so I don't know the exact test miles they put on it, but there were 48 total miles when I drove it off the lot. So probably most was from the test drive and then a couple for the dealer taking it to fill it up with gas.

Perfection. Never saw any recalls either.

No courtesy note on mine, but it had 150ish miles on the clock.
The config I wanted was in the hard to get supply category, and they had to drive it from another dealer they traded with. Not a problem. They told me up front.
They didn't leave a speck of taco debris in the interior.

I drove it around for about 4 hours at 100MPH in the parking lot at the factory. Put a few hundred miles on it and factory reset the ODO. Your welcome, it was well broken in. We changed the driver seat because I spilled my coffee doing doughnuts.

They probably drove it around the test track that's right next to the factory pictured below.

I think they went out into the boonies with my hybrid!
When I dropped the spare tire last summer to rustproof. I found two hazelnut clusters with 4 hazel nuts attached, no lie!

Mine should have said it was selected by the owner's wife for an 80+ mile test drive.

There are some native hazelnuts in Wisconsin, but I am a hunter and have never seen any in my neck of the woods. Native hazlenuts are smaller than the commercially grown "filberts" like the ones I found under my freshly purchased truck.
But doing a search, I found that Mexico doesn't appear to be a producer of filberts. ????

It took me a couple weeks to notice this on the inside of the back window. The backseat headrest was blocking it from view. I just thought it was unusual since I’ve never seen something like that on a new vehicle.
