Maverick Test Drive Reviews?

Not sure when the long-lead press launch is or maybe already happened for a select few. (Im usually not invited to long-lead). Regional and more broad press launches haven't happened yet (usually closer to them arriving at dealers). In short, very few if any journalists have been given drive access and won't be until the press launch.

I messaged Raiti on his FB page and simply asked if he’d driven and when we could expect to hear results. I can tell that someone saw it but no one responded.

I'm anxious for a test drive review. We've had more than enough walk-around look-see reviews already. I want to hear how the Maverick feels and performs on the road, especially the hybrid version. It doesn't need to be a powerful ripsnorter but one would hope it's not a slug.

So I'm guessing that since you can schedule a test drive on the Maverick we should start seeing plenty of videos and reviews about how the Mav drives and handles in the very near future!!

I saw every vehicle Ford makes on that site EXCEPT the Maverick at Oshkosh, WI.

m@verickchat - They just chimed in with answers to specific questions related to their preview of the Maverick. Seems as if the "embargo" was simply for Canadian media. You will notice some new content today specifically from Canada.

Totally unrelated... I used to work with a lady that could never get sayings correct. She was telling one of our clients that "we go through everything with a FINE TOOTH BRUSH!. We corrected her, telling her it was a "fine-toothed COMB" - to which she replied, "what is a tooth comb?"

In a number of industries, usage is allowed but there is an Non-Disclosure Agreement(NDA) on reporting until after a specified date. When that reporting is allowed they may also be required to specify that it was a pre-production model used on such-and-such a date and other parameters.
