Question…..So technically, the (2024) 2K EB could tow the same as the 4K EB for at least; one mile, on flat land, on a cool day? Beyond that; Hills and Hot weather, would eventually take it’s toll on the 2K?
Am I way off on my Hypothetical statement?
Great tip, but has anyone confirmed this with a Maverick that was actually moved “off-line” and then applied the “refresh” button?
I ask, because using the “counter clockwise location arrow” does put the Ford app page into a “refresh” but the time of “vehicle location” stays the say. That...
My 2024 EB AWD arrived on the trailer at the dealership with 18.8 miles, but no indication as to why? I asked the salesman, but he had no idea why it arrived with so many miles.
Love my Ceramic on the windshield. I can feel my dashboard is cooler on hot sunny days than my cars without ceramic. Yes, it was pricey, but I will never go without it, on future cars. I did ceramic all around.
I’m in Northern Ohio cold with my 24 XLT EB Lux Pkg and the Heated steering wheel does the same. I get it, that the wheel has to tame down a bit from the initial "super warm" setting early on. But, when it cools down, it goes too cool. I would prefer it to maintain a slightly warmer...
My 24 EB XLT is now only 15 months old (built 1-29-24) and the dealer is replacing the battery.
I took the truck in for service because of the Stop/Start not working. ( I know, some would say that is a blessing ), but there are times when I would like the Stop/Start to work, like at super...
24 EB XLT with 7k miles has warned me 3 times. I believe all 3 situations were the same.
I typicall leave a lot of space b/t myself and the vehicle in front of me. In the three situations, the vehical up ahead was turning left. I could see that traffic would clear for them to perform...
I have the lugging as well, but at least during the cold winter it does not "Ping" at the very low rpm.
I was using higher octane gas in the summer and that did help a little.
I always use Top Tier gas.
As an example, on level ground, crusing approx 40mph, My EB likes to settle in as low as...
If you live in the North with the snow and yuck, without question the TuxMats give the most complete protection for your carpet. If you don't need that much protection, then anything is fine. I have the Tux and my carpet looks brand new. They are fantastic. Good luck.
My Auto Stop/Start on my 24 EB only works after a very long drive. It will then work perfectly fine for that day and maybe one more day, then it stops working completely. When I go for a very long drive again, the same things happen. As others have mentioned the system is very picky about...
FORD NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS!!!!
The water that is retained behind the bottom seal is very concerning! Obviously this is a future Rust issue for those of us in the North.
I just drained both my rear doors, after driving in the rain!
Has anyone gone to a dealership for this issue?
Thank you...
Thanks OleFordGuy for the links. Good info. I do wish AAA would update more of this article towards Direct Injection results, that would be more relevant to our Mav Ecoboost. They did mention in the review that Top Tier would help the Injectors, but I didn't see anything about long term...
Climate Control in the Mav, still baffling.
Still unclear about the Climate Control, in the Mav......
(Reposting questions here again, hoping for some more clarity)
At start up, the Climate Control systems is completely off, but........
1. is it in "recycle" mode, so no outside air comes in...
When you start the Mav......
(Questions based on 24 EB XLT Lux pkg, which is not dual climate control)
the Climate Control systems is completely off,
1. but is it in "recycle" mode so no outside air comes in?
If you press the "temperature" knob, that was set to a lower (colder) temp setting...
Activist Engineer,
thanks for sharing your “dark comedy.”
You really went through a nightmare, but made a smart move working through the system to get your long awaited truck in a clever way.
Nice job. Best of luck with your new Mav.
Great idea.
Can you expand on your hook up?
You connected the red wire to your battery positive and the black wire to the pressure switch terminal. Can you expand on the pressure switch hook up details and positioning?
I assume this makes the hood light only come on when the hood is lifted...
