Tail light issue after BCM recall

So this started a week or so after the recall. I've noticed that the bottom bulb on my passenger side doesnt like to work depending on my light settings. If the light switch is set to off or on the auto settings, positions 1 and 3, only the top light works for blinkers and brakes. If its set to running lights or lights on, positions 2 and 4, all the lights work.

I'm still running LED bulbs so that might be part of it. I'll try to swap them back out to the halogen ones and update the post of the results later on.

Last Wednesday, after my selling dealer wanted me to show up at 8AM and leave the truck all day (again) to do 2 recalls, I called another dealer (D&D Ford) who had offered to do mobile updates. Sure enough they scheduled me for Monday PM. However, Friday am they called and said Ford had put a hold on doing the BCM update for the taillight issue.
Has anyone else had this happen? ( They will still be here to do the Inst Panel recall.)

Last Wednesday, after my selling dealer wanted me to show up at 8AM and leave the truck all day (again) to do 2 recalls, I called another dealer (D&D Ford) who had offered to do mobile updates. Sure enough they scheduled me for Monday PM. However, Friday am they called and said Ford had put a hold on doing the BCM update for the taillight issue.
Has anyone else had this happen? ( They will still be here to do the Inst Panel recall.)
Yes, I also called to schedule the update and was told it was on hold. The service advisor said that they were going to call when they have the update ready.

I had mine done last week, no mention by dealer of a hold on recall

We had ours done a couple weeks ago by the mobile tech. Haven’t noticed any issues.

I have an appointment this morning (in 40 mins) to have this recall done... Since it is all I am getting done at this time one would hope they would call me and cancel if this recall is on hold! I am picking up some parts (and I get to go for a drive my truck) so I it won't be a total loss even if it is canceled for now!

So I called Ford Customer service this morning, and the robo response was that the 24S27 is still active. I then called the D&D remote service booking lady and she confirmed that it had indeed been stopped, but was now on go again from Ford. ( I assume they may have sent an update to the BCM update). The remote tech is to show up at 3:30 to do both updates.

So I dropped it off and they told me I would have to leave it all day? Ok, bummer but I know how garages work. I took my iPad expecting to sit and wait. Their shuttle took me home. I grab the dog and head out for a walk and while we are out (1 hour after dropping it off) they text me that it’s ready for pickup. I got my wife to drop me off this time. They offered to wash and vacuum it, but I declined so he handed me a wash coupon for the local touch less car wash that I can use - nice touch, this is the first time using them for service!

The recall number has a ”B” at the end so I am not sure if that is new or not 24S27B.
