Warranty is 5y/60k, not forever, correct? Your truck was meant to be driven, not mine. Mine was meant to be babied since I'm paying for it and all. I'll be the only one driving it, thank you.

I prefer to stay running vs "in the shop", warranty or not.
I'll take those new half shafts. Hopefully by then they will be upgraded.

Yeah, I'm a worrier so I agree with you. I'm not as concerned now that I'm seeing that as far as repairs go, it's pretty mild, and cheap. But I want this thing to be rock solid. For all the grief we give Ford, it seems like they're trying to get it right.

Most of the deep sleep and hybrid cutoff issues have been resolved, or likely will be resolved with this upcoming software update. Beyond that, the only physical part of the mavericks that seems iffy is these CV components. With how profitable, and successful the maverick has been, I don't see why Ford couldn't perform a recall to address this.

I have an early 22 Hybrid and started having vibrations at 35,000 miles. vibration got worse fast. Dealer got the shafts in 2 days and replaced in 2. No complaints, no charge with a loaner

Exactly my story this morning. At about 33,000, my early 2022 Hybrid XLT starting shaking while accelerating. Dealer ordered axles and I'm in a loaner.

Sounds like there are issues, but dealers are taking care of them right? I'm fine with that.

Yeah, but the tremor ones aren't much better ... getting mine replaced in the front right now because the front left sheared off all the splines. And i just have a leveling kit on it

One would hope it is in Ford's best interest to improve the quality (endurance) of the CV axle or maybe a 3rd. party will come along with a better quality replacement. Even if they don't by my math, I might need 1 or 2 replacements before the extended warrantee expires and maybe one more by the time I am ready to move to a new vehicle. Not ideal but certainly not a deal breaker for me.

I'm not 100% positive on this but I believe all the issues are with the people that lifted their trucks putting that extra strain on the CV's.
Nope, bone stock Maverick Eco, highway miles 95% of the time
