The angle is determined by the original bolt location (angle).
You are replacing one of the front strut bolts with a (supplied longer one)..

Yes I have the bolt that come with it just wanted to know if mine was defective or improperly manufactured before I install. The angle on the end steel different. I’m smart enough to know I don’t know enough and should ask question. Sorry about the e bad spelling for steeda

Have it on both of my vehicles. Works fine, and looks like that.

What is its purpose? Why would you need this?
It is NOT a mandatory thing. It is simply a Strut (support) that connects the two Front Suspension towers and helps keeping the body "stiff".
Which means, Less body flexing that occurs overtime.
It was a common thing to add to early Mustangs.. My Brother had a few...
Installing one doesn't hurt...

You could always order another one.
Compare the two side by side.
If they are identical. Then keep one and send one back.
The probability that you would be sent 2 defective braces, would be highly unlikely.
Unless you already know the proper angle.
What will using a angle finder due?
Good luck.

It reduces body flex, which tightens up handling. Reduced flex also helps keep things from working their way loose due to the constant flexing.
