Has anyone tried these Strautos tail light assemblies? I crack the passenger tail light this weekend while moving and a factory tail light is the same price as a pair of these.

I have to disagree with you on that.
What shows up at the bottom of a post after the fact is usual quite helpful, but the site search is..... let's be generous.... 'basic'.... AT BEST!

The search function sucks, I tried it. That thread you linked to also doesn’t say anything about the tail light, it is about the wires.

Hey, the lights are linked there at least. That’s the only place the lights you are asking about are mentioned on the whole forum.

They say smoked lens. Where I live that is illegal. I don’t need some hard nose officer pulling me over for that.

What they're describing as smoked lens looks exactly like what I have on the factory Black Appearance Package, including the LED side marker light. They don't look like traditional "smoked" where the whole cover is tinted black, not a lawyer but based on pictured he should be fine.

I like them but I'll wait until I break mine before buying.

They'll probably be fine. But it's not hard to find the same thing for even less. Many of these Amazon sellers are probably sourcing from the same manufacturer.

Personally, I would either get a new one made by Ford, a used one from a wrecked truck, or a third party option. All are available on eBay. Third party options are as low as $55.
