Tail Light LED light bar

When I plugged the OPT7 led tail light bar into the 4 pin plug it "disabled" the rear, cross traffic sensors. IF I hard wire the unit into the wires to the tail lights with this still occur ? I want to use the light bar BUT I also want the the sensors to operate properly.

This solution works and the Curt harness means you don't have to splice into the factory harness.

Consider the curt 6 or 7 pin relay adapter which requires a separate power ran from the battery positive. That way you get full functionality at rear including backup lights and with 7 pin both auxiliary 12v charging plus 12v supply with at least 30 amp fuse.

I suggested the Curt harness solution to someone a couple of weeks ago, he wasn't willing to spend $100 for the harness to use a $15 light bar,,,,,

the curt harness is now like $78. Honestly its probably the best option now too with all the recalls.

I tied my rear light bar by splicing directly into tail light wire, without issue. Even made a video of the process, just haven’t had time to edit it yet.
