For tire work @Hot Runr Guy uses that to lift one side of the Maverick "near" the lift points. Then lowers it onto jack stands at the lift points. I don't have enough knowledge or experience to be comfortable doing that.
I sold my previous car when it was only 12 years ago. I couldn't use the jack points anymore because they had rusted through.
I definitely believe you can fold/damage them, and likely the newer the car, the more easily you can damage them.
I don't have enough knowledge or experience to decide a 3' board in the middle of a unibody vehicle is good enough.

What confuses me is the DAYTONA Cross Beam expands to 37" wide and the side jack points are at least 48" apart.
How do you get to both jack points the at the same time?

Am I correct you're working on the premise:
A) These things cause a higher state of charge
B) Which is independent of a parasitic draw. However a higher state of charge will hold off the parasitic draw issues longer.
