Hey everyone, I'm interested in adding some D rings but realizing now that when they sprayed in my bedliner they covered up the holes. Anyone able to help me out with maybe measurements I can use to get to them? Should I just use an awl or screwdriver to punch through the liner when I find them?

You can use an awl to punch through the material but I would follow up with the proper sized tap to chase the threads. Sorry, no idea what size holes and thread pitch they are but I'm sure others here could follow up with that.

At least they removed your cubby cover before spraying. ;)

Thanks, would the spray in have filled in the threads or I was hoping once I found the holes, I could just dig around a bit and start screwing in the bolts. I got some M8 x 25mm that I had read somewhere else should work?

Well, you can try it, but that bed liner material gets really hard once it is fully cured. In my experience it is always best to chase the threads and avoid any issues during install.

If you don’t want to mess with it yourself, try calling the shop that did it in the first place, to see if would be willing to do it for you.

The dealership hooked me up with their boys an Ultimate linings shop. Think I should harass them about it?
That's up to you but thanks for naming the outfit. Doubt if I'd trust them not to screw up any repair.

I watched their u tube training video where they mentioned removing tie downs and tailgate panel then went ahead and sprayed them in place anyway. 🤷‍♂️

Wouldn't stop me from using them if necessary but a pre job conversation would be mandatory.

Golf tees stuck in threaded holes before spraying is dirt cheap and necessary.

Thanks all, I'd still need to know how to find the actual holes to either do it myself or tell them. Anyone generous enough to grab a tape measure? :)

I will but will not be back home to my unlined Tremors bed until the 27th.

I have to say, the camaraderie on this forum is amazing. How quickly people are willing to help each other out, the ideas, and the suggestions. I love it 🙂 I have found much help on topics addressed here.
