Installed the Gatortrax Retractable Tonneau Cover and Bed Rug in summer. I double check position to ensure a good seal as well as adding the rubber seal around the bed gate. I did not install the drain hoses as there are not drain holes in the bed of the Mavericks(?).

My unit is garage kept, but in Chicago area we have had constant high humidity weather.

But, I have noticed the inside of the rug is slightly damp more often than not. Really cannot find any area that is more impacted than others. I was told expect condensation, but also concerned is there a leak?

Thoughts?

There are drain holes in my Maverick's bed.

The bed is not water tight and no tonneau cover is completely water tight.

The good news is that your bed rug is mold and mildew resistant and should dry out just fine.

Thank you. I read somewhere that there are no drain holes. Would there be a diagram in the owners manual for location now that I have the bedrug in place? Just being lazy.

Your bed cover drain tubes should go into these factory holes on each side of the bed, just remove the rubber grommets (pic from a different post on this forum)

I mean there are holes, but you bougie boys with spray or drop in bedliners may to be able to see them any more. I for one think a painted bed with scratches is more truck-like.
