I added the in cab 110V and I’ll just keep an extension cord around instead of having the rarely used in bed 110V.
That reason was what put me over the top to order both the rear cab 110V/400W outlet and the manual rear sliding window.

I am ordering an XLT Hybrid with Co-Pilot360 for the additional safety features (and insurance savings) it offers anyway and I am getting both at invoice price so total costs are $284 + 6.25% tax of $17.75 equals $301.75

I keep my vehicles at least 12 years so that works out to be $25.15 yearly. About the cost of one dinner.

I am a first time pickup truck buyer and was wondering if it's worth getting the rear sliding window. Does it restrict visibility when viewing through the rear view mirror ? Do they leak ? Is it a security issue with break ins ? Thank You.
our trucks even built yet and you want to know if they leakk? 😂😁

The dealer said no issues with leaking on the rear sliding window. I'm going for it.

I had one in my 07 ranger single cab stx i bought new, it helped a lot with cross flow from having the windows down, didn't use the a/c as much at highway speeds or county roads :) I've ordered it on my maverick this go around too.

GET IT! Every now and then you will need to pick-up a 8-10' piece of molding, pvc, etc.
No problem this is how I haul long pipes,8-10’ pieces of molding, pvc, etc. one more thing I am under 6 ‘ tall and I don’t own a bicycle or a kayak maybe I’m just weird .

The only problem I find with a manual rear sliding window in a crew cab is you'd have to get out of the truck each time you want to open or close it especially if it starts raining. Now if you're opting for an electric sliding rear window that fixes that problem.

curious as to how dealer would know IF rear slider leaks until Mavericks are currently being driven all over the country?

I just asked if the other Ford pickups had leaking issues and he said no.

I don't trust sticking any long piece thru a window where it will bounce on the actual window since its more of a rear window portal, not a full height slider.
Take a piece of hose. Cut a slit in it long ways and cut for a 90 bend for the two corners. That should protect the glass for light applications

I got it because it came with the package. I'm glad it's there. I think I would have ordered it if it was an option. They look cool. I want the ventilation. They look cool. ...oh

I never opened mine when I had the Silverado, but I spec'd the Maverick with the sliding window anyway, lol. A truck is supposed to have a sliding rear window. Wish it was power though.

Would rather have it, and not use it, than need/want it and not have it!
Last 2 trucks had one, and it helped with ventilation nicely! I could
easily go with out it, or get a possible aftermarket one, that might
be a bit larger. If one is made anyway!

I definitely wanted a sliding rear window for airflow. One of the features that helped push me to the Lariat was the rear window being motorized.
