I thought the keyless entry keypads were gone. I was looking at the 300A XLT package and it is currently listed. Was I mistaken?

It got brought back as a dealer installed option for the stupid stick on keypad. It will be listed under dealer installed on the window sticker.

Wow $195 cost for the "stupid stick on keypad". o_O

So glad my 2023 got scheduled and not rolled over to the 2024 as the keypad is built into the driver door.

I also got the "400 watt Inverter/120 Volt Outlet" in the Cabin on my 2023.

If I had been rolled over to the 2024 it was not available as a stand alone option and only available in the Luxury Package.

I would only have saved $90 in getting the 2024 over the 2023 including the private offer.

Best $90 spent in getting the "Built-in Keypad" and the "400 watt Inverter/120 Volt Outlet" in the Cabin.

My question is, why is it $195 on the configurator and only $120 on the Ford Accessories site? They charging $75 to install it? What's the difference?

The 'add-on' keypad needs to be programmed into the truck to be recognized, which most owners aren't going to be capable of doing themselves. If you buy it off the accessories site, you would still likely need a dealer to bond the remote to the truck in order to actually unlock the doors.

I get that. I just wonder what the difference is, and if it is just a "baked in" $75 dealer install fee and the exact same keypad.

Same exact keypad, they are just charging you much more for the install.

The "stick on" isn't that much different, appearance-wise, than the previous offering, except they don't offer it in a vertical orientation. @FordMotorCompany , maybe you should consider? This way, it could be placed in the same location as on the 22-23's.
