that was actually the one main thing that got me rethinking taking it when I first saw it. Got daylight pics now and it fits it perfectly.
Also yes it is terrain.
at this point I will be bring it home Monday most likely
the towing and hauling part of it is why I'm still looking at f150 and the f150 I have now rides really nicely for its size since its one of the biggest. im wondering how the maverick would handle having around 800lbs in the bed. im also currently 50/50 on getting a small camper in the future as...
Got notified beginning of January that mine had shipped with and expected date of 1/26-2/9 which just happened to be the start of my week long vacation. got back to an area with cell service and noticed it switched to final prep on 1/31. First thing I did after getting off the plane was go to...
Been using forscan since 2018 and never worried about using a charger. Forscan will warn you if battery voltage is too low before you do anything though.
it has been done once that I know of for an f150 and it involved a lot of rewiring and a few changes with forscan and getting the keys programmed to the truck which will be the hardest part
As long as the physical plug is the same it should work. The only thing that might not work would be the upper led bar since I’m not sure if your truck would be wired for it but that’s an easy fix. No vin coding needed but I suggest checking out forscan if you are planing future mods to the truck.
If you just got the truck you might have to wait a couple of weeks. It pretty common in the f150 side for this to happy to recently bought vehicles if ford updated the pcm and that pcm version hasn’t been added to forscan yet. Also make sure you have the latest version installed since that just...
This is pretty much exactly what it is. It’s dependent on how the truck wakes up when you open the door. The main reason you might not hear it is you have buckled your seat belt before turning it on as that is what that chime indicates. I’ve noticed I can stop it half way when I buckle the seat...
The apim (accessory protocol interface module) which is what they are referring to is essentially the sync computer and if it is bad won’t update from either WiFi or usb. I do know that if you don’t have the usb setup just right that will also prevent it from updating and sync is very picky...
based on that image it has sync 4 since what I see is the sync 4 unreal theme pictured and sync 4 has already been put into multiple mavericks without much modification. It’s going to be just like swapping sync 2 to sync 3 was on older fords.
Well mine took a whole month to actually get to built status since it started 11/29 and hit built today 12/27. So shipping wouldn’t surprise me if that took another month at this point.
Im adding another no to premium. I have used it for the last 5years or so since before the subscription part was added and have no idea what premium would even get me over the basic tracking I use it for. No vin or insurance info is needed to use it. You can manually select all vehicle options...
I would suggest start with buying a copy of the helm wiring manual for it. Then from there it should be easy to get the wiring right. you will also need an obd2 adapter and a computer for forscan to enable it. remember to take your time and double check everything as you go. Seeing as to its...
