Seat Jackers - anyone installed?

Has anyone installed Seat Jackers on their XL?

It’s essentially spacers to raise the front end of the seat up for longer legs.

Anyways, the provided instructions say you’ll need 13 and 15mm sockets to remove and install bolts but when I opened up the small access hole, the factory bolt is a star/torx pattern.

1. Wondering if anyone knows the size so I can order one.

2. Has anyone installed these yet? Wondering if I need to remove all the “trim” around the area where the seat base meets the floor or if the access port is enough for the install.

A walkthrough would be helpful, although it seems pretty straightforward.

yeah I couldn’t get over the price for a long time, but I paid 70ish?

since the XL doesn’t offer that kind of adjustment it felt necessary to help with long drives.

Even the ones with adjustable seats are all hinged at the front so that part of the seat doesn't adjust on any of them. It would be nice, but I sure wouldn't even pay $70 for it. For the odd long trip it would be nice, but yeah I couldn't get over the price for something I could DYI.

The thing I hate most about my XLT is that as I raise the seat, it pitches the back of the seat up. The result is that I can't settle into the back comfortably. I have it positioned lower than I'd like to be comfortable. The price on the product seems high, but I'm going to get them and give a review.

Since Day 1 I’ve always found the Maverick seats uncomfortable. Especially in the front part of the seat. I feel like it already presses against my thigh. Last thing I would want is to raise the front higher.
