I havent actually looked at how the seat mounts but with all certainty I feel I can ask. What is wrong with a few washers? Its not like these are such and such compliant for safety and insurance and stuff. Few washers, maybe some longer bolts, $12? Maybe?

Exactly what I did with my 2016 VW Wagon. Same issue where the seat tilts with height - and becomes more flat and tilts forward/down as you go higher. Doesn't let you sit "in" it bucket-style.

A few high grade washers and longer bolts and I was happy with the comfort. Doesn't take much - like 1/4" is all - to make a difference. Might not even need the longer bolts - if no one on this thread posts up info, I'll eventually get around to attempting this mod.

Since Day 1 I’ve always found the Maverick seats uncomfortable. Especially in the front part of the seat. I feel like it already presses against my thigh. Last thing I would want is to raise the front higher.
Same here. But from the link in the OP, you could install them on the back seat bolts to make the back higher and the front lower.

I would think that seat bolts are safety critical.

Initially found the Maverick seat uncomfortable. Kept jacking up seat and finally ordered some padded seat covers from Amazon that added enough height that I now find they were my solution to comfort. Made seat probably 3/8th of an inch higher with padding and greatly helped the comfort. Now find the seats quite comfortable.

We bought these for our Mav. My husband didn't like how the seat tipped back and knees up when we were test driving. (Opposite of your problem) We are putting them in the back, not the front. Could it be used in the front? There are several variations on amazon. We might even use different bolts. Make sure we get best quality for strength of the bolt for safety reasons.
We actually turned down a Mav on the lot because of the seat comfort. In the end we decided we liked it enough to do some modifications. Hoping these work and we don't have to do like some have done and take it to an upholstery shop and have the foam in the seat modified.

The $79USD or $110CND dollars are for one set for one seat only. Double it if you intend on doing both seats. A little pricey considering what is in the kit.

Harbor freight and you will have torx or Allen for now and future.
Or, go to Autozone and buy their Torx bits.

Or Autozone has a quarter-inch Torx bit set for $25. You will need them in the future as well.

Yeah they are and putting any form of jackers in them without crash tests would negate the safety ratings. Unless this is a Ford tested accessory.

Not saying that I would care. I am perfectly confident driving a vehicle that uses a milk crate for a seat. Tied down or not. Vehicle quality crosses with driver awareness to create overall safety.

Its something I did on my 74 Maverick. Those vinyl bucket were slicker than snot so I tilted them back a bit to give me more of a place to plant myself during hard driving. Its funny one time doing a transition from right hand donuts to left hand donuts in a church parking lot. I did suddenly find myself on the opposite side side of the trans tunnel!! From then on I would actually wear a seatbelt if I was going to be doing donuts.

for $10 I'll try it...
3 washers per bolt gives ~1/4" lift. Or I can do 4 on drivers side and 2 on passenger. The seat jacker instructions state you can reuse the factory bolt with the 3/8" / single lift, so that was good info.

I appreciate the time you took to look that up but I’d rather depend on the surface area of the billet than some washers…but obviously personal preference. However, what I was asking is if anyone has installed these, not how to spend my money.
