I’m not tall so I don’t have anything personally to add but I would say to the OP that plenty of tall guys buy sports cars that are smaller than this. You’ll be fine.

I got you all beat. 6'6" and 340 lbs. I still have plenty of room in the front or the back. I've been driving a 1997 ranger for the last 17 years and it is smaller in the cab than the Maverick.

If the day every comes when my six pack abs turn into a couple of two litre bottles than I may need to step up to a F-150. :ROFLMAO::LOL: :D:p
I've got those two litre bottle abs, and the Maverick is just fine. Unless it's your two-inch height difference (I'm 6'1"), I doubt you'll need to step up. 😀 😀 😀

I actually thought it was larger in person compared to how all the reviews gush on about the compact size.
Same here. My first reaction when I saw my first Maverick in person (mine), was surprise at how big it was. I've owned small cars and trucks all my life....and this one doesn't qualify as small at all in my book. Inside...or out.

Walked by one in a parking lot today and it looks tiny. I am 6’2” and worried it will be like a clown car. However it could just be me😵💫. I am driving the same mid size SUV for 12 years for so it could be just an adjustment period 🤔

Any other tallish guys driving a Maverick?
I agree it is small but exactly what I was waiting for ANY manufacture to offer. Perfect little truck, so far, for me.

I had to drive a hour and a half to go check out the only Maverick I could find for sale, when I pulled up and saw it in the lot, I immediately thought.....well that looks tiny, there is no way its going to work (I have a new born and need enough room for a car seat). Once I opened the doors and sat in it I was surprised at how much room there actually is, then I busted out my tape measure so I could set the seat as far back as it would be able to go with the car seat in it, and surprisingly enough it has a few more inches of space then the wife's 2010 rogue.......Bought it next day, love it no issues in space even with a car seat (y)

It's like a Tardis, looks small on the outside, more room than you would expect of the inside.

I seen my first one in the wild June 2, 2022 at 8:08 am EST going north on Poinciana Blvd just north of 17/92. Can you tell I am excited for my expected build date of June 20, 2022?

This maverick is designed so well to use it’s small space, I think you’ll be just fine. I’m 6’1 and bigger guy- I have no issues in the Maverick. Actually believe it or not, I have more knee room than I did in our 2004 F150. The foot wells are a bit shorter but I can almost stretch out my entire leg if I lean back but def have plenty of knee room. My only complaint on space for taller people is (esp on longer trips), there isn’t the best thigh support on the otherwise very comfortable seats. The smooth ride almost makes up for it though. Can’t b*tch too much about a cheap entry level truck I guess lol.

I didn’t even think of this. I had an F150, ”right sized” to a ranger and didn’t miss the size. Honestly the ranger sat same height as some 150’s. It wasn’t till I got my maverick and parked next to an F150 that I had to laugh…but like others said, this is what I want and need so it works. My son, who is relegated to the back seat said it surprisingly has more space than the ranger did. Unfortunately, nothing will compare to the backseat space in the 150.

6’2” and 205lb. I feel like I have more knee room in the Mav than in my wife’s Mazda CX-9 (three-row SUV). I keep my son’s car seat behind the passenger seat because I keep my seat far enough back that it’s pretty tight for his legroom, but he could fit behind me if he had to. I can sit behind myself just fine and in the passenger seat in front of my son just fine. A family of four could easily fit, at least moreso than in most compact SUVs or compact sedans.

Of course, I can also curl up into a Mazda Miata and drive just fine, so I don’t hate small cars. But the Mav is pretty cavernous on the inside, for sure.
