Welp it happened. Uninsured motorist tried to pull off a u-turn across a highway without looking first. I took off his front end with my passenger side headlight and wound up rolling the truck into the dunes next to the road.

Truck kept me safe, able to walk away with nothing but some bruises.

Planning on replacing this rig with a new one, jury's out if I'll stick with the hybrid or swap to the AWD. Sad the color isn't available anymore though.

Glad to know it protected you so well! I owned two Saturns and was involved in a crash where they were both totaled and I walked away without a scratch. Hope my Maverick protects me as well if the need should arise.

Bummer about your truck, but all that matters is you're okay. The truck can be replaced. You however, cannot.

Whoa, glad to hear your OK. I too mourn the loss of the ALto blue color option. I settled for Carbon Gray when my 2023 slid to 2024.

My great fear also. Glad all are well after that. Our color is so special; it gets so many double takes as people realize it's not black.

The very first maverick I saw back in early 2022 was alto blue and it made me go "Ooooooooooh!"! Very nice color and I agree it's a shame it isn't offered anymore. Best of luck!

I also have the alto-blue, alas we are few. The gold color of the rims is a nice accent color, I've considered gold accents but couldn't determine if I would really like it or not. Guess I am going to look into some things.

Good luck locating a new truck, I believe it is getting easier, my mom was able to go buy one off a lot a few months back with little issue.

I would be heartbroken to get mine totaled but it did it's job of keeping you reasonably safe in an accident and I'm glad you walked away with only bruising as the damage tour truck looks considerable. Good luck with your insurance company and may everything work out okay.

Yeah, that green really popped in the showroom on the Bronco I looked at. I settled for the Azure Blue (dirty blue) after I totaled my Lariat. New one scheduled to build July 1st. I first ordered one last year that arrived in Feb and is sitting in a lot 20 miles away waiting on a gas tank repair. Been a lot of drama. Good luck with yours, order it asap

People who drive without insurance and valid license should be thrown in jail and lose the car they were driving. Getting way too dangerous out there!

Maybe order a 24 specked to how you like just in case the 25's are way more expensive...you could always order a 25 after and just not take the 24 - someone will take it.

Glad you are okay...that is a pretty rough looking accident.
