Anyone notice on your window sticker, under "crash ratings" it says "not rated?" Can't find anything online either. How can they sell a vehicle with no crash ratings?

Oh wow... that's interesting. Do they not need them before sale can take place?! Come to think of it... i haven't heard a WORD of safety yet regarding the Mav.

The insurance quotes I have gotten for the Maverick have been a bit lower than my previous car and my previous car had 5 star crash test ratings.

It's pretty common the 2021 Bronco and Mach e still don't have ratings

Yeah, I was actually thinking about this yesterday and was going to make a post about it.

I know that there is no requirement for crash and safety ratings, but it would be nice to have it.

It’s not uncommon. When I woeked at a Subaru store, anytime we had an updated model it was months before the window stickers came through with crash test numbers. Because Ford has experience with Escape and Bronco Sport, and because they run many computer crash test simulations during development, I have no worries that the Maverick won’t have good ratings.

Crash test data isn't a requirement like EPA certification is. It can take a few months before the testing is complete. Bronco Sport was about 5 months for instance.
Anyone else find it a bit disturbing the priority was what fuel mileage you got, versus if it was even crash worthy???

True, but like others said on here, I think it’ll be very similar to the bronco sport since they are both on the same platform.
Agree. From back seats forward it’s basically a Bronco Sport with some extra distance to cabin from rear end collisions.
