Fit perfectly.

I have found Amazon to be wrong at times such as in the ad below👇

I have been able to replace my OEM battery with the one pictured. I love it, thanks to everyone. But I have not been able to finish the replacement of the bolt and hold down. Does anyone have any instructions to pull the cubby out? I can’t find any links to any.

When I do mine I'll probably go out and buy a magnetic socket.
Try not to snap anything I heard it's easy to do. Good luck.

So what is the battery size in the 2025's?
I'm not sure, but most likely an H4. I see no reason why Ford would change the compartment's sizing.

Should I put my noco charger on the truck overnight to charge the new battery in it?
Does it need to detect the new battery being charged in order to remember the battery type and voltage?

I will say it seems like when I start the truck the voltage goes up to 15 volts, and not too long of a drive it drops to 13 volts or so and keeps it there.
With my old Ford battery it would stay at 14.5 or 15. I feel it must be dropping down because it can sense the new battery is full. The old one could never truly be full so it always called for a higher charge current while driving.
Apologies for not getting back to you so much sooner. Fortunately, it looks like other members here were able to answer your question accurately.

I ordered the same battery a week ago and it arrived Friday. When I ordered it the seller questioned me about the size and fit. When I provided diminsions and a picture they shipped it the next day. Amazon just doesn't have a hybrid qualifier. I had to pay 130. You can use a 3/8 drive and you don't have to remove any plastic trim.

Amazon does not recognize an AGM replacement battery for the Maverick (2022-24) because it isn't an OEM battery. However, as you discovered, it fits perfectly.

But the OEM battery was an AGM battery. Amazon just doesn't distinguish between hybrid and ICE for battery selection.

I was just about to post some details regarding my latest experience related to this thread, but I'll briefly chime in here. My 24 Lariat hybrid has been in battery saver mode for about the last year. The dealer replaced the battery once quite a while ago. It didn't help for long. Now my truck sits in the service bay for the 4th time since this started. I have finally convinced them to install an AGM battery which they now agree should've been the correct equipment all along. I'm curious to see if it will be the same BAGM-H4 posted here. For those curious, this is being done as warranty work however they are hitting me with a $100 "copay". It's not exactly what I had in mind but at this point I'll take it. I will update when I get it back.

Make sure you hang on to the receipt/work order so that you can collect when the AGM fix for 2022 - 2024 hybrid models is announced...............................................

The $100 "copay" is pretty much the upgrade cost of the BAGM. I expect they will cover the upgrade in their paperwork.

UPDATE as of 09/10/25:

Still going strong? No need to update BCM with Forescan when switching to AGM?

'23 hybrid first deep sleep message lol

Will pull the trigger on this AGM battery if all has been well.

Thanks!

Following AGM installation on my hybrid, the deep sleep mode continues and the voltage drops to around 11.7 every morning. The latest SOC was 17%. It's once again back in the service department for the 5th time. They will probably keep it all week and in the end I have doubts they will find the problem. But they sure are trying. It's almost time to squeeze the sour juice out of this one. Sad.

Just for later readers of this thread.

No - the OEM battery on the 22-24's hybrids (which this whole thread is about) was NOT an AGM battery.

The OEM battery on the 25 hybrids is AGM.

The OEM battery on majority of 22-24 EB's was AGM, and a recall to replace the ones that got FLA happened.

The points about Amazon is the fact it won't think the listed AGM battery which is the correct size to replace the OEM one, is correct. Because OEM was not AGM.

You probably have a parasitic draw - not a huge one causing dead in 2 days - but more than expected.

Did you have the ACCM software update per SSM?

What measured that SOC%?
The BMS system PID for SOC%?
Multimeter or battery tester connected to get that voltage?

I do recall a poster saying they found a bad AGM battery on his new 25.
That's always possible.
