I would advise an inflator that includes a jump start feature ( or a separate jump pack device), considering the deep sleep issues that are surfacing.

I use the dewalt 20v inflator. It inflates my sea eagle kayak most of the way on the high volume side too.

Can I ask where you store this in the Maverick?
It very easily fits in the underseat tubs. I normally have my hardhat and high viz in there too, but removed for the pic.

I've had the unfortunate bad luck of 3 flats in the past 18 months between my wife and I. I've used this and the smaller version and they've been great.

Hi everyone! I'm going to be going on my first road-trip in my Maverick in less than 2 months. In the past, I've really not liked trying to put in air at gas stations. Most of the time, it seems that they are out of order. I'd like to have something that I can keep in the Maverick for "just in case". I looked on Amazon, but it's getting harder and harder to find something that is not a cheap knock-off from China. Too many things with the same picture but with different "brand" names.

What do you use and recommend?
I have a little Ryobi battery powered air gun. Cost like $30 I think. I already have the batteries, plus I have a Ryobi DC charger. If you already have some battery powered tools in your garage, look em up Im sure they have a option in your brand.

Another vote here for the Ryobi unit somebody else mentioned--I have it and it's been nothing but excellent. Works well, good price for what you get, plenty of battery life and strong performance (filled up a spare tire from zero to 60 psi with plenty of power left, faster than some stationary units I've used). Love the all-digital operation. Only difficulty is you have to screw on the connector to the tire valve each time, and then unscrew it when done. Not a problem but it can be more time consuming/tedious than other pumps I've used.

Third or fourth or whatever (I lost count) for the Ryobi handheld, the one that is about drill sized. Super easy to use, mine replaced one of those older small plug in varieties.

I'm a huge fan of my good old foot pump. No dead batteries and not affected by the cold.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I'm leaning towards the TEROMAS Tire Inflator Air Compressor.

It seemed to get a good rating from Car and Driver. For my needs, I'm trying to avoid getting anything that needs a battery pack (it nearly doubled the price of some models). I really just need something to top off the tire without going to the gas station.

What do ya'll think?
