We have a 2022 maverick xl Eco boost with tow package. and got the latest 2 software updates. Wasn't experiencing to many issues before now have gremlin's.

1. TPMS sensors fluctuate from 28 to 33 psi randomly from start up to even doing it while driving. Takes about 5 minutes to go away. Checked tire pressure at 34psi.
2. Service voltage light turns on for 1 to 3 seconds randomly even while driving at highway speeds. Already replaced batterie less than a year ago @ 29000Miles. voltage at idle when checked is just under 12 volts.
3. Brake lights stay illuminated longer than headlights when open and close door.
4. Radio interface freezes on ford logo for 5 to 10 minutes have to reset all the time now.
5. Probably not related but happened at same time drivers rear window regulator wire jumped the track and now falling. Had to take apart to keep up. Waiting on parts to fix sucks its 2 pieces window track and motor is sold separately.
6. unlocking doors from key fob takes 3 clicks in succession if stop have to start over to unlock all doors.
7. Noticed a 2 mph decrease in fuel milage on highway shouldn't have effected but went 800miles this last weekend and noticed it.

There prob more that I haven't seen, felt or smelt. I have to have the dealer take a look at it but I cant afford for them to have it for a long time while they wright new code. This is one of my work trucks. I am getting feed up with all these recalls that don't actually fix the issue and just cause more.

These are some of the issues I've experienced with the Pcm/Ecm recalls. has any one else experienced any of these issues or any others with the recalls?

Mine is due for all updates, now I'm hesitant. I figured I would get them done when the camera issue was sorted.
Just curious - What 2 were your due for?

It's OK if everyone unloads on me with massive derision for this guess. Because I'm just making a WAG. Is there any chance the service tech left some connecter less-than-fully connected? Because a loose connection might cause all kinds of bizarre stuff.

OTOH, as a former software engineer, I have to admit that you could be that "edge case" configuration that they didn't test. But my money would be on a loose connector or an update that somehow went wrong.

By an update gone wrong (former software engineer), I mean - does the update software automatically perform a CRC check to make sure the software made it into your vehicle uncorrupted? A CRC check is programming 101, so I'm assuming they do that. It is soooo easy to flip a bit when copying files.

The brake lights illumination/ instrument panel 2 different ones but same update. Then the trailer brakes. All The recalls seem to be software updates. when first got truck delivered truck sat on dealership parking lot for 2 months before they could deliver :curse:. If the dealership didn't reach out and do a at home visit I wouldn't have done it for a while. Almost temp to find a magenta file and see if I can write over there bull $#%* can files. I was gonna do the cruise control and tune the truck but now I'm gonna have to wait until they can fix these issues.

Of course those are always a option. I'm gonna give them the benefit maybe a corrupt file or something simple. the truck goes to dealership on Friday.

I usually delay getting recalls done until they get the errors worked out of the bug fixes, so on and so forth. I guess it's about time to bring the 1982 Escort in for recall work. :sneaky:

It sounds like your battery is now dying due to the incorrect BMS software not charging it correctly. The computers are not getting their constant minimum voltage anymore, causing all kinds of phantom issues. My first battery was replaced at 13 months, and the second only lasted 5 months. The BMS fix is supposedly coming out before the end on March, and I'm hoping it comes with an extended 6-year warranty on the now-damaged battery...

And when you take the Escort in and they do the recall work, guess what? All hell is going to break loose! They’ll find more shit that “needs” to be done, and warranty is way past expiration!!! 🤣

I have not heard too many issues with the 2025 year model. I hope it stays that way! I hope they fixed all the bugs!

24 No issues and they finally fixed the door randomly locking with a software update a month or so ago.

24 XL, 10 months old. Ford replaced the battery about a month ago because of sleep. Did the back-up camera recall yesterday (never froze), took about an hour. Other than those truck has been great.

Update they took a look at it. Reflashed tpms sensor issue doesn't seem to be happening.
The voltage light still comes on but still goes away will come on at stop light and as soon as rpms go up it goes away. They said they tested the battery but noted batteries is swollen which is probably from over charge but none less said they didn't cause issue of course.
The door locks are getting worse and sync is being frustrating annoying.
All other issues still persist gonna have call lovely corprate and get the run around.
I have many fords over the years but under Farley everything has become a dumpster fire.
