Took my Tremor into the Dealership the other day to have my brakes serviced. Technician noticed one of my rear shocks was leaking. Ordered replacement (covered under warranty). MY 2024 with 30,000 kms. This sounds way to premature for a shock to be failing, especially since the Tremor has its own specific rear shocks.

Anyone else experienced this?

Could just be a bad batch from the factory. It happens sometimes. I had a rear suspension bushing prematurely fail at 10k miles on my FX4.

Not that unusual....back in the day, manufacturers would recommend 2 years / 24K miles on shock replacement. Granted with today's better materials they do last longer but they are a wear item...

Yeah, it's not odd for a shock to fail in short order if it had a defect in manufacture. I've even had Bilsteins do it. That's what warranties are for.

Had a 2023 Mazda cx-30 before the Mav. Lots of forum members were finding leaking rear shocks in newer low mileage vehicles. Rather strange but apparently not completely unheard of.

I'm at 19,000 miles. Seems a bit premature.
Nothing is premature for a manufacturing defect. Clearly this is not a common issue with Tremor shocks, or we likely would have seen multiple examples by now.

If the ford technician didn't tell you... could you notice it?

The dealer pointed out leaky rear shocks on our 2020 Escape after 5 yrs about 70k miles. They wanted $910 to replace them. I kicked the can down the road for about 10k (didn't notice any issues really), then I figured my local mechanic could beat that price. They did it for $880 🤷‍♂️
