I was thrilled with this 200 mile run on my 800 mile trip from South Carolina to Hudson Valley New York. Note that my cruise control is set on 75 miles per hour and it was 99゚ outside. For the 800 mile trip I averaged 32MPG and only had to fill up once. I believe had I had my cruise control set 70 MPH or below I could have averaged over 35MPG for the trip.

I love seeing all of these real world mpg updates. I was nervous about ordering the EB, but am much happier after seeing these current numbers.

You are right "brain fart"

The one showing 156.2 Miles is accurate as that one took 2H:31M:06S so the 30.8 MPG was over a 2.5183 Hour time frame that averaged 62 MPH.

The one showing 407.4 Miles is not accurate over those miles as there is no way to travel that distance in 14M:36S. So the 26.3 MPG must be over a shorter t

The display drops the seconds once you go over 10 hours.

I'm slowly inching up...what does my Fuelly say now? Guage is consistently high around 6% for me which is more than I'd like but whatever.

Also still need to take it in for the fuel tank recall - no fumes ever so I haven't prioritized it, maybe there is an issue but doesn't seem likely.

This is the first 10k on my EB including Hw and city…..average speed in the mid 40’s. This is with the auto start/stop disable. pulling a 3,570lb trailer about 14% of the time.

10,000 K I hate to see it coming, but I'll hit it on my way to work tomorrow more than likely. She's purred like a happy cat without a single issue. Still love it just like the day I got it. My Hybrid just blows me away with the MPG. Just washed it up tonight and got looking like she just came off the show room floor. Shadow Black is a pain in the ass, but man she looks good when cleaned up.

28.4 is pretty darn sweet on the Ecoboost given they way you've been using it. Congrats! :)

That's really impressive given the trailer duty! I'll assume it's a low landscape type trailer?

it is a 20’ enclosed and I have a 2005 660 yamaha grizzly for my load. My mpg drop down to 12 to 18 while pulling No faster than 60mph. I was guessing on the 14% with a trailer, it could be a little more or less.

Congrats on the 10k milestone. I wanted to keep my average mileage running forever, but mileage clock rolled over at 10,000 and started back at one. The motor hours and the average miles per gallon seemed to maintained.

You’re right black is beautiful but tough to keep clean.

thanks again

Even more impressive. That has a bit of an aero hit to it. 12-18 pulling that is crazy good!

I was actually a little disappointed, my 3/4 ton diesel gets better millage pulling than my Mav….crazy to think about. I will need to get more miles to get a better benchmark pulling with the Mav. It actually pulls surprisingly well With little effort to maintain speed Or getting up to speed.

Although the Maverick has that 4K tow rating, I suspect the 2.0 ecoBoost is working pretty hard with bigger trailers and weights. I took our camper out again recently, saw 11.7 liters/100 kms average indicated, gassed up today, hand calculated and confirmed that. 11.7 = 24.1 mpg UK gallons, or 20.1 mpg US, quite good IMO. Only doing max 100 km/h 60 mph tho, and 1/4 of that full tank was premium. The Maverick is getting better fuel economy towing, than the Nissan Frontier (4.0 V6) that we had before this, got on the highway not towing anything!

lol....too bad that diesel doesn't match the Mav when no trailers are attached! 🤠

I can't wait to compare how mine pulls my tandem 24' flatbed vs my 2.7 F150! It would do ~16-18 mpg with a 4k load, but you hardly knew it was back there. I know the Mav will be working a lot harder, but I'd be ecstatic if I could still get in the ~15'ish range.

In time you will see and accept the real numbers in real driving conditions wind hills winter after 8 months of driving the 2.0 Maverick awd It was a challenge to keep 21 mpg as my average combined mpg
Which was unacceptable for a small truck
traded for the hybrid I drive the same and now I am averaging 37.3 to 38.9 and the gas tank is 2 gallons less in the hybrid

Made a trip from Tulsa to Baxter springs. Mixed driving. Average hwy speed 65-70 and small towns 35-50. Was getting 39mpg before the little towns. Only upgrade is a cheap intake tube and k&n cone filter. 91 octane
