I love this grill so much, and there is something about it on the Maverick that makes it even better. maybe its the 'Tiny but fierce' vibe. lol I wish it was standard because I dont think I have the capacity to do it myself.

if its only the grill you will like its very easy to change you can do it your self

looks like this doesn't fit the one with front Radar. Also did you buy the FORD lettering separate?

The letters comes with the grill . It does not work with the radar

I'm 100% with you on the look and capacity (or guts) to try this myself. However, it may not matter much if I never receive my hybrid. lol

that is the best way as long as you put them on tope of wood and do not touch the metal in the oven you are good plus pre heat the oven first only electric ovens .

do you happen to have any photos of the grill before putting the lettering on? Trying to figure out if it has posts for the lettering or is just a flat grill straight across. product photos don't seem to show any but for a injection-molding inject port, just to the right of center?

it is just flat and smooth on the front except for what you describe. The backside of the grill has witness marks for pilot holes where the letters will screw in from the backside

I hope they release a version for the radar or I'm sure it could probably be modified. This grill looks a LOT better than the stock one. This would look great with the rest of my BAP.

OP, can you describe the process you took for opening the headlight assembly. Do you know of this would be the same for the Lariat housing as well?

Process is the same to open the Lariat housing. We cannot do the Zep Purple to get the BAP look on the lariat lights as they have the LED's that can not be removed.

So the LED stays in but is the chrome still on an insert than can be removed? May just be a more tedious process.

It will be a few months before my truck is ready. There is time to gather the information.
