My delivery date got delayed twice (Originally 1/2, build date 12/6). Then I got an email about needing additional time from Ford. The date in that email moved delivery to 1/25. The Ford tracker moved up to 1/17. But I took delivery today!!!

My experience at CR Apex was great. Took about an hour and 15 minutes to complete the transaction. MSRP. The number from my order sheet was exactly what I paid.

I know this is easier to say now that I’m on the other side. But don’t stress about it. Find things to fill time.

I just wish mine would ship! I'm going on 3 weeks of my truck having been "Produced" but still don't have a built email for some reason. I'm glad to hear Crossroads treated you well! Enjoy your truck!

Has ANYONE who ordered a hybrid from Crossroads Ford of Apex received their truck yet? I just called them today to inquire about the status of my truck, ordered July 9, and they didn't know anything. I asked if they had received ANY hybrid orders and they said no. When I asked for an estimate of when they expect to begin receiving hybrid orders they said Summer of 2022! They could not tell me how many hybrids had been ordered or anything about their allocations. Absolutely clueless.

My order was delivered today from Petersburg. Was still on hold until yesterday afternoon. History almost identical to yours. Can’t pick it up until gas tank inspection is done, probably early next week - IF the tank is ok. Does not have seat belt issue. Maybe yours will arrive soon.

My Maverick arrived at the dealer on Friday 1/7 and immediately submitted the vehicle to their service department to check for Ford Safety Recall 21C35. Well, sad to report, the vehicle failed the recall investigation and there is indeed damage to the Fuel Tank and the tank will need to be replaced prior to sale of the vehicle.
Now the next wait begins for Ford to release recall parts and priority on repair. I estimate around April before repaired. Sad - would be almost one year from order to ownership. I can honestly say, I'll NEVER ORDER another vehicle again. Too much of a hassle.

Ok that is weird that they answered that way because I literally picked up my Lariat Hybrid today at 11am from Ford Crossroads Apex (well, I actually left with it after 2pm). I got a great sales associate Steve Schmidt who went through every single button and setting to make sure I knew everything. Finance part was straightforward, I had my preferred financing in hand and they weren’t able to beat the rate so I proceeded with my plan A, no funny business with additional fees or anything, it was exactly as we agreed when I placed the order. Approx. $32,000 sticker and a little less than $34,000 out the door after dealer doc fee, tax, title, registration. I believe they said that was their first hybrid though so maybe the person you called was not aware. It is truly slim pickins for Mavericks there, they said they haven’t gotten any stock orders (edit: in retrospect, I wonder if he thought I was asking about hybrid stock?). Steve said he’s going to try to get a hybrid Mav himself in the 2023 model year. I’m feeling lucky and thankful but also I just spent a shitload of money so I gotta enjoy it.

An XLT Lux (EcoBoost) was just delivered to the the dealer in Sanford yesterday (01/17) w/ the same blend date as mine (12/14). I put the order for that one into the tracker and it showed a "Built" date of 12/23. That definitely makes me wonder what the holdup is on mine with the Sanford delivery having the spray in bed liner as well. Still sitting "In Production" since 12/22...

My "Blend" date and "In Production" date is the same as yours and I have not seen any action on the tracker since 12/22/2021. I did see that my Modules went live on 12/24/2021 indicating the truck was build. This morning I went by Cella Ford here in New Bern and the General Manager showed me the Vehicle Visibility Report and it has not changed since 12/22/2021 either. The GM has contacted the Regional Area Representative and ask to have a status report run to locate my truck and reason for delay.
