Quick option for a bed mat!

I need to buy TODAY a temporary mat to move a large dresser. (Other than quilt )
Any suggestions?
(I do not have a bed liner, nor, unfortunately, taken the time to order a bed mat )

Check your local farm stores. They often have bed mats in stock. Otherwise, I would see if there is any cardboard you can round up, possibly at a recycling center or at an appliance store.

You can get "moving blankets" at Harbor Freight cheap.

Two years ago, I bought a $20 Home Depot 6x8 outdoor carpet, cut it to fit and cut a piece for the tailgate and bolted it on with 4 body washers. It works really well and looks classy. If it gets dirty, I just pull it out and either shake it out or pressure wash it.

Home Depot has a thick black mat on sale really inexpensively right now that will fit perfectly in the bed and give you the protection you are looking for

Carpet…everyone usually has some spare or old piece in the basement. I have one that I cut to perfectly fit. I use it when moving something I (or the wife) doesn’t want scratched. I have the Ford spray in bedliner and it’s pretty rough.

Check the Mattress store near you for cardboard. I've done that many times. Watch for staples. If you don't want to buy a moving blanket you may be able to rent them at a truck rental.

I used a stall mat in my F150. Lasted for over 10 years. Perfect for truck beds..... If they can handle horses, you will have no issue on anything the truck can handle.

I don't have a basement. Do you know where the scrap carpet would be in my house? I haven't found any yet

I went with the cardboard. I helped my daughter move some furniture. Two Women and a Maverick Truck!
