Yeah, I didn't think it was an issue, but was curious how many others received a 19. As long as it puts me in the queue, I'm happy!

19 is the default setting in the Ford system. You can ask your dealer to give you a higher priority / lower number. My dealer changed me from 19 to 10 when I asked. I was their first Maverick order.
I was given a 10 ( larait, lux) don't really thank it matters much. Ford will do what they want to do

19 is the default for customer orders, with 10 being the lowest dealer can assign. If two builds are identical the 10 will be built before 19. Yes if someone has a 10 from a but has options under constraint and a 19 has nothing under constraint then the 19 goes first.

I asked my dealer to provide me an updated preview sheet to confirm my changes. I notice that the priority code changed from 19 to 13. That would mean the dealer changed it, correct? Because if it was a Ford change for scheduling it would be less than 10, correct?

That's the way I understand the process.

My priority number has changed from a 80 stock order to a 02 retail order...I assume that is good news??

Indeed, congratz! That means your order is being previewed for build scheduling. You could get an email from Ford soon (usually on Thursdays of each week) with an estimated build date. Though some people have said that they have been stuck at a priority code 02 for weeks.

MAV full-Lux here. Priority 19. The only thing that hounding my salesperson for more info has achieved, besides her continuing useless comment that I WILL get my vehicle, was an email from the sales manager thanking me for being a customer. Whoopie. I must be special.

So I put down a down payment on a Maverick at my local dealership that they had ordered as extra stock for their lot-they showed me a few different builds they were waiting on but I have no clue when these orders were placed. I looked at the build sheet f and it says Priority code 40. Would the dealership have any reason to change the priority code now that someones gone and put a down payment on it?

Generally the priority codes only matter relative to other orders from that dealership. I wouldn't worry too much about that number. Invariably the larger delays are from constraint items, such as CoPilot 360, or other options that require computer chips.
