2022 XLT FX4 20K miles- Except for one battery replacement, absolutely perfect for 20,000 miles of Baja driving. Handles off road like a champ, including deep sand. Great little truck, which I have decided to keep for many years to come, and if I want something else, I will simply add to it. Very much exceeded expectations, and literally drives like a sports car. Cheers all.

I’m glad I’m not the only one shocked at how well these handle the off road. Other than approach and departure angles it’s very fun to off road. I’ve had a lot of fun in mine.

Bruce did quite a bit of off-roading at the local scout camp this weekend. Handled like a dream. The AWD kicked in when needed.

2024 Hybrid XL with 7500miles. Only issue is the app going into deep sleep mode so that I can't remote start and the occasional radio screen freeze. Been a great little truck. No regrets

I got my Mac in March of 22, have 40k miles and happy to report no issues at all. I was worried when I got rid of my 2011 ranger for the mav, but honestly no complaints!

18,677 miles and about 2 months shy of its 2 year purchase anniversary. No problems to report except for the headaches associated with the infotainment system. No dealer visits required except to flash the BCM for the recall last year. I guess I'll be going whenever they release the fix for the backup camera recall. Other than that, its been good. I've been doing DIY oil changes in the 4500-5000 mile interval and I'll be performing fluid changes for the transmission, PTU, and RDU later this year. Tires (Pirelli Scorpions) still have 9/32" tread and are wearing evenly. I hope to get another 10-15K miles out of those, but I may replace them sooner if they get noisy or start to loose grip in the wet. Not my favorite tire. Factory tires never are.

Hello my fellow Maverick truck owners. I've seen so many posts regarding various issues, recalls, and general problems with our trucks but who else here has had pretty much no issues or problems with their trucks like me. Other than the couple recalls that where fixed via Ford's mobile service, I've had no issues with my little beast.(Knock on wood). No issues at all I'm proud to say..Anyone else?

I guess this is as good a place as any. My only gripe is where to place the needed stickers I have.
Good truck, good color. I don't love any vehicle, but I like this one.

23 xl eco, no problems at all , and all recalls so far done by mobile unit from Mullinax Ford, Apopka. Love these Guys.

Compared to most on here I'm a relative short-term owner, only since 3 Jan, 2025. Yes, I bought it used, but a 2024 Lariat hybrid w/ 3,150 miles? Pretty darn close to new, not a scratch on it and even smelled like a new car. I haven't found anything wrong w/ it and really don't expect to. Most of my running around has been just in town so I've seen the sleep mode that has everybody apoplectic; it's been cold and cold isn't kind to batteries. It has always come to life when I needed it to, no hesitation. It handles well, rides fine, the few times I've been on the road for close to two hours non-stop have been comfortable and pleasant and I could stand and walk upright when I got out. Fit and finish is, to my eye, very impressive. My fuel mileage is ok and getting better as the temps go up. I've seen a few complaints about the seats; no complaints from me but I'm not tall. I hadn't owned a Ford in years and that last one was an old, rusty Escort wagon. My biggest frame of reference for the Mav is that I bought an Escape Titanium hybrid back in '23 that impressed me far more than I expected it to. We bought it expecting to use it as a tow'd behind a motor home. We love the thing, so when I decided to to replace the big old 2500HD w/ something more manageable I couldn't help but check out the Mav hybrid. It very much fills the bill for us as a capable small truck and it'll become the tow'd instead. Disappointments? I love all the bells n whistles on the Escape. All of the development for that stuff has been done and is tried and true. Why does the Lariat, which is supposed to be the top of the line, not have more, if not all, of those same bells n whistles? The Escape Titanium dash display is outstanding, why not use that one on the Lariat rather than that useless "Power Meter" thing? Why not the Heads Up display? Park assist? Memory power seat? HomeLink? And there's probably more but I'm sure you get the point. Would I buy it again? Heck yeah! I plan to keep it a very long time.

I really appreciate this post as I just got my 2024 xlt lariat fx4. (315 miles) Some of the negative posts had me a little concerned. I drove my 2004 explorer sport trac for 20 years so I was accustomed to the 4 door small bed truck and loved it. I'm looking forward to many happy road trips in the future.

Hit 20,000 miles on my way into work this morning, coming up on 2 years next month.

Zero issues aside from a couple of software flashes that a dealer's mobile service van did in my driveway.

32,000 miles, 25 months. One of the hanger hooks broke off the rear passenger grab handle. The interior scuffs easy. The suspension has clunky sounds. Remote features occasionally get disabled. About 10 total tiny paint chips that I'll be touching up soon. That's about the worst of it.

I have a 22 XLT Hybrid with the Lux Package and Co-Pilot 360, just turned 45,000 miles. Did have the rear window leaking water when I first got it (had headliner replaced). Other than the recalls, I have not had any issues with mine. I did have the Deep Sleep happen a few times but I charged the battery really good, did the battery reset and have not had any more issues. Oil changes every 5k and changed trans fluid at 40,000, that is all I have done. Even my original Continentals are holding up.
