Ive only had mine almost a month now its a 2023 XLT I really like it so far, it does have the backup cameras recall thing to be done... and I actually encountered that once. But so far so good over 3.5 weeks now.. I really like it and look forward this spring to finally having something with a bed again to get some yard work/fix up stuff done.

I did look at the ridgeline,Tacoma and Frontier also... almost got a Frontier BUT they gave me a MUCH better deal on the Maverick..and im used from the Subaru Forester I traded in on the Maverick to getting around 30 MPG+ highway and so far I havent taken a LONG(over 30 minutes 1 way) trip but in shorter highway trips im getting close at least and MUCH better than the Tacoma or Frontier would have gotten.

Hello my fellow Maverick truck owners. I've seen so many posts regarding various issues, recalls, and general problems with our trucks but who else here has had pretty much no issues or problems with their trucks like me. Other than the couple recalls that where fixed via Ford's mobile service, I've had no issues with my little beast.(Knock on wood). No issues at all I'm proud to say..Anyone else?
Me: '24 Lariat hybrid - Just at 10k miles. I had three software related recalls done by my dealer's mobile service in my driveway. I am in a very mild climate and my truck goes into deep sleep if it sits over 24 hours. But it always starts.

Consistently show 44.5 mpg using 87 octane and a range of 585 mi, + or - when I fill. Average price in San Diego is $4.64/gallon so my Mav is delivering on its promise of fuel economy.

Yes, it is anoying to have no courtesy lights most of the time etc. but I am living with it as I hate Ford dealers.

No issues so far on my 2024 Lariat Eco after 1 year. We treat each other well, and I am 100% satisfied with the purchase.

I was error-free until the 11th month of ownership...now, my wifi dongle won't connect to the infotainment system without a Bluetooth disconnect/reconnect and the battery started failing to hold a charge for more than a day. The dongle used to connect as soon as I turned the key, and I think an earlier update to the infotainment system is the culprit...but I'm not taking it to the dealer for that. Turning off wifi and telemetrics seems to be keeping the AGM battery from failing, and I'm okay with that, too. The keyfob still remote-starts the truck when needed.
Still enjoying owning the truck, regardless.
I have a 2024 Hybrid Lariat. Had a rattle that was eventually fixed. No other problems. However, it does bug me that it won’t run well without periodically putting gas in it. Then there’s the oil change once a year. I only drive about 850 mikes a month. Live real close to work. I have driven to Hot Springs and Denver. Great performance both trips. Seriously, the worst problem so far is decreased performance of electric batter during cold in KC this winter. Warm weather seems to improve this per

'24 Hybrid XL since Sept 24- appx 5K miles so far. Very occasional momentary camera freeze but otherwise all great; I love it. Missing the cargo length capability of my Transit Connect but adapting :). Also can't wait for warm weather to return so I can get back to 50+ mpg in-town trips.

My 22 Xl AWD CP360 has 32K and only 3-4 simple recalls , and just replaced the Continental Tires that performed perfectly.
We did a National Park tour in the Maverick - 3200 miles and it loved those long grades up and down and still averaged 32 mpg
for the trip. We also have a new Explorer but I prefer the Maverick.
Ford has done a good job with this truck in its 1st year model and I appreciate getting a new AGM battery in the near future.
I don’t think I could ever sell it. Why would I ? Thanks

Zero issues at 50k on my 24 xl awd. Thats saying something with the way I treat it. I enjoy my truck and use it. It’s been in the mountains of CO, Texas hill country, Michigan mud and sand dunes.

Congrats on conquering the big sand hill at Silverlake. I tried that one time in my Ford Exploder years ago and got only half way up. Definitely a fun place to go however.

Just a few weeks over a year and 10k miles ownership and no major issues at all. The dash rattles are annoying and the battery deep sleep happens but it’s been a great truck. It tows my little utility trailer well with almost a ton of stone. Does what I need and gets the MPG promised.

What kind of noises? Mine makes a whining noise.
mechanical interference when it’s cold and multiple times now when in reverse it’s made a loud screech like metal scraping against metal.

Got my truck Oct 2023. Now have 5,040 miles. Garage kept.
No issues so far!

Did the 2 recalls by mobile tech in driveway. Dealer took care of windshield motor, seal issue.

Truck had a 720 miles trip, good gas mileage, comfy trip.

Oil sampled at 970, 1,300 and now 5,000 miles. Oil used so far - blended. Leaning to synthetic at next change.

23 Hybrid XLT since January 23. Total love fest. 5-8 hour road trips up and down California. A pleasure. Perfect for a roller-derby family to throw your kids' stanky gear in the bed under our Lock n Roll cover. The passenger side window got stuck down once. Sunrise Ford fixed and replaced the faulty switch in an hour.
