Don't think the market would support a vehicle like that with numbers making it cost effective to build for Subaru to even get return on investment, let along making it profitable.

I spoke to my dealer about a month ago and they said there would be no problem. But, they couldn't say where it stands.I ordered my XL ECO AWD 4K tow December 15, 2021. Only received my VIN July 15, 2022- and that was 2 weeks after I removed all constrained options that I had on there. Build date is supposed to be 8/29- but we'll see if it gets pushed back like so many others.
Have you asked your dealer or checked with Ford Customer Service to see if you have VIN issued already? If memory serves correct I think Ford put out August 4th cutoff for receiving a MY2022 build. If no VIN by that date, you were advised to re-order as a MY2023.
Good luck!
I got my VIN and estimated build date directly from my dealer. last week got Email directly from Ford confirming I am scheduled for production. Hate to be bearer of bad news, but if you can't confirm you have a VIN issued by now, you probably aren't getting a MY2022 built despite your dealer saying "there would be no problem". I'd pester him for your VIN. If he can't produce it, I'd assume there IS a problem!I spoke to my dealer about a month ago and they said there would be no problem. I have a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Sport ....great SUV.The Forester has always been one of my favorite vehicles, even though I never bought one. One word: VISIBILITY. If only they made a shorter version of the Forester I'd be driving it right now instead of our Volvo XC-40.
I believe they no longer have the Hybrid Maverick as it was a loaner for testing and they had to return it when they received the EcoBoost Maverick.I glad to see Nathan is buying a non-turbo SC for one reason: Hyundai has not ptovided non-turbo SCs to the media for testing. I'd imagine the TFL crew will compare Nathan's SC to a hybrid Maverick and we will see how the base engines compare. And not just real-world MPGs but 0-60MPH, braking, distances, power/ability to tow, etc.
It would be interesting to hear the ages of people who love/hate the XLT seats. I think the older I get, the less tolerant I am to hard seats.I get what he means by the Maverick not being the most comfortable vehicle. Im personally not a fan of the XLT seats
So far, I've driven 600 miles on an eb xlt with the longest trip yesterday of 126 miles each way. I had no soreness to my knees or back of my thighs as I usually get when driving 200 miles non stop in my 2017 Camry SE. Soon I'll be driving the 200 Mile trip in the mav so maybe I'll have similar issues as the Camry with the longer non stop drive. Also, I'm 5'11" with a 33" inseam and 195 lbs. Only time will tell if I keep liking the seats.I get what he means by the Maverick not being the most comfortable vehicle. Im personally not a fan of the XLT seats
Comparing the Santa Cruz to the Maverick is not valid because of the price difference .The more I listen to this the more interested I become in the SC vs a Mav
