Well...that "660 lb" thing has been throughly debunked since last September....But it lives on.In addition to the SC's terrible fuel mileage, it cannot stand up to the hybrid-standard Maverick in regards to payload. Whoever heard of a truck of any kind limiting payload weight in the bed? SC specs no more than 660 pounds in the bed, which is only a portion of its rated payload.
That said, I feel like the Maverick has loads of room for improvement. AWD should be offered on the hybrid drivetrain, it should be able to tow more than 2,000 pounds in hybrid form, and it should offer the Pro Power Onboard feature. It doesn't need to reach for 7.2 kW or even 9.6 kW, a 2.4 kW offering would be phenomenal.
