When I started this journey over a year ago I didn’t need the truck immediately. Now I am in a position where I do need something fairly quickly. If they had delivered it by Christmas I can manage. But I know I have to assume that we are talking 4 to 5 months minimum from now to get a Maverick.

As a result I am spending time today seeing what my options are. Unless I get amazingly lucky I don’t believe I’ll be buying a Maverick.
Don't know about you but I don't get lucky that often.

With tweaks, seems like the dealer allocation model will remain. Man this system has bitten so many people. IDK but was schedule ahead because of the region and dealer within the region. My dealer earlier said they where getting 7 initial MY23 allocations and had just 11 orders. So not a tiny, but still relatively small dealership.

Do empathizes with your situation, but will say that since you are not Lariat trims, you probably will be ok cost wise if you can make it. My trade in has dropped in value by 1k in the last few weeks. So know there are a lot of variables. Do see the 3.9 60 month financing, which is 2% higher, but it is unknown about financing protection for you guys. Good luck and remember the extra months agany will at least give you the positive of a new MY23 versus us tail end MY22.

I ordered my First Edition Lariat Lux hybrid on Oct 13, 2021 from Granger and am still waiting. Seems like every time I check with chat it gets delayed even more. Last week I had a build week of Nov 7 and chat told me today my build week is Nov 14.

I don't understand how so many hybrid orders placed after mine have already been delivered, but as they say "it is what it is". At this point, I almost wish I would have left off the FE package and got bumped to December 19th too. Getting a 2023 would be better than this. :(

Your wait is because you ordered at a place with less allocations than orders, so that big discount penalty is a longer wait. Personally, I think that's a fair trade off even when waiting sucks, they had a sweet deal going.

I know a hybrid with Co-Pilot 360 is a double constraint whammy. Has anyone here who ordered that combo last October '21 received their Maverick? I never was even issued a build date and now have had to roll over my order to a '23. I'm not sure that might not have me waiting another year.😟

I’m scheduled with a build week of 12/5. As of lunchtime today, my dealer still thinks mine is getting built as a ‘22.

I obviously know mine is getting pushed back to ‘23 now, but I’m just confused about how my dealer seems out of the loop. Other people claim that their dealers have already asked them to build their ‘23 order, but the official memo said that those details will come out later this month. Does anybody know for sure if we’re actually supposed to be meeting with our dealers to build out our ‘23 orders?
Your guess is as good as mine. The dealer I’m dealing with knows nada about what the memo and Tim B had to say. My take on that memo is that the dealership won’t have anything to do with the order being ‘built as a 23’. Ford will make it a ‘23 and the dealer will be told which VIN’s will be moved to my23.

Just got mine today, I ordered at the end of October. ( ordered twice but I had a bad feeling about the first dealer. I was right, that order didn't get submitted until November and will now become a '23, and this one just got here )

Also, you are probably going to get it sooner by having Ford roll it over than if you relied on the dealer to do it back in September. I think a lot of people that did it through the dealer will be mad as they see other identical orders ship before theirs.

Same.

I got an email bumping my build date till November 21, then decided to chat with Ford this morning to see if that's what they show also, and they told me I now have a Dec 19 build week, which obviously isn't happening.. I'm in such desperate need of a vehicle, I just don't know what to do.
Yea I thought you were right around the same date as mine. I’m so disgusted at this point. No comments made by me are personal to anyone that made the same purchase as myself in this hybrid maverick but it totally irks me when ppl get theirs that ordered after me. Just is what it is. Good luck with yours.

A lariat hybrid. Love it. Not personal - but knowing your order was placed after others and a more $ one proves my point from earlier. It’s wrong of ford. Can’t get around that. Glad you got yours. I’m sure it’s nice to have it.

Yes, you are right. I did get a deal in October at 3% below invoice, and I knew I would have to wait. But after the hybrid orders cut off, the dealer had a special sale for 3k off MSRP for new EB orders. They took 100's of new orders. I figured those orders might be built before mine and I asked the dealer to lower my priority so my order would not get buried behind all those newer January orders placed after mine, but they refused. They didn't really seen care about helping me out and were only concerned about their allocations. Again, it is what it is.

I don't think $ has to do with it, I think dealer allocations AND when your dealer actually submitted it.

Did you get an email from Ford that reflected the date you ordered ? I think a lot of dealers were lazy about submitting orders right away, and screwed people weeks or more further down the line for getting produced.

Look ay my signature, my first order was placed earlier than this one, but never got sent to Ford until November.

Yes my order was placed 10/11/2021 and submitted on 10/11/2021. Not sure what the ratio is of higher priced Mavs to regular XLT hybrid orders being built but my guess is the higher value the more built. Look at how many F150’s were built in a month as opposed to the lower priced Mavs. Ford isn’t dumb. They just don’t care about each and every customer as they should

I'm probably gonna stay off the chat tonight. I'm so furious, I'll probably end up saying something and getting banned for it lol. I can't believe ford strung along so many people for so long.

I have not yet received mine but the tracker is now at least showing it as shipped:

Ford Maverick October Hybrid Orders United shipped

See my sig, I ordered it the same day as you with similar constraints.
