They should be getting a list of affected VINs today, my dealer got theirs this morning and called me to build out a '23. Hopefully it's not another year-long wait.
Well at least your dealer knows that much. I literally just spoke to the salesman that sold me the Mav sight unseen and he knew NOTHING aboit
It. So crazy.

What’s your order date Tirpitz? Mine is 10/11/21. I have seen a lot of orders delivered that were placed after ours. My guess is Lariat trims get built before XLT’s. I have no major add ons and there’s no reason their not being built if Lariats are being built.
Believe the private hybrid offers where cash positive for XL and probably XLT. Forget now but was think it was around -$500 for my Lariat Lux. Especially if Alto Blue is not free in MY23 and like the online tool says went up as well to $495. Don't think the current issue is chips but electric motors common to all trims.

Same here, but now we're doubly screwed because the people they were already going to roll over have been put in the queue before us so we'll be behind them!
If Tim @fordvideoguy is correct then any order from ‘22 that had been given a VIN and is now not being built in ‘22 will be pushed to the front of the line. That’s a big IF and a lot of trust in Ford to do it right and at this point that’s no comfort to me at all. They haven’t done it right to this point imho so although I’d like to be hopeful unfortunately I am not at all. Especially since the salesman doesn’t know the latest information.

I’m scheduled with a build week of 12/5. As of lunchtime today, my dealer still thinks mine is getting built as a ‘22.

I obviously know mine is getting pushed back to ‘23 now, but I’m just confused about how my dealer seems out of the loop. Other people claim that their dealers have already asked them to build their ‘23 order, but the official memo said that those details will come out later this month. Does anybody know for sure if we’re actually supposed to be meeting with our dealers to build out our ‘23 orders?

Mine is a 10/12/21 order. It was XLT + Lux package but I dropped the Lux in the summer to try to get scheduled. That worked until it didn’t.

I know a lot of you are still waiting ( I have an order getting kicked to '23 too ), however I did get my backup October order today.

Traded in an XL Eco I was fortunate enough to get off lot at MSRP in the spring.

The Wait is worth it. 356 days. Hybrid is everything I wanted, and meets all expectations.

Zero Brake issues as discussed in a different thread. Can't tell a difference in braking from the EB, other than the slowing down when regen is hitting. Absolutely no regrets on the Hybrid, and I was starting to second guess after having an Ecoboost so long. I was grinning ear to ear looking at the MPG and EV coach.

I hope that Ford does something beyond just priority and reschedule for those that got rolled. Hang in there!

I would say the majority of dealers don't know shit. Obviously ones like LM stand out amongst the sea of garbage.

When I picked up my order today, I mentioned the memo that went out this morning, and the Sales Manager straight up pretended he read it then talked out of his ass. Not being able to admit when you don't know the answer is big red flag in the trust department.

Same.

I got an email bumping my build date till November 21, then decided to chat with Ford this morning to see if that's what they show also, and they told me I now have a Dec 19 build week, which obviously isn't happening.. I'm in such desperate need of a vehicle, I just don't know what to do.

When I started this journey over a year ago I didn’t need the truck immediately. Now I am in a position where I do need something fairly quickly. If they had delivered it by Christmas I can manage. But I know I have to assume that we are talking 4 to 5 months minimum from now to get a Maverick.

As a result I am spending time today seeing what my options are. Unless I get amazingly lucky I don’t believe I’ll be buying a Maverick.

I have my dealer trained. I was on the stream last night, during which I found out I was bumped to 12-12. Went to the dealer at lunchtime. I usually stop in there every week or two (for a year now).
He had all the papers on his desk for me re the conversion to a '23. Answered my questions and I'm set till the next shit show.

Be hopeful as you have dropped the lux package and have an XLT, the least constraint trim. You will be at the head of the line and no worries about a dealer doing the correct thing. WAG is the end of January and hope it all works out for you.

I ordered my First Edition Lariat Lux hybrid on Oct 13, 2021 from Granger and am still waiting. Seems like every time I check with chat it gets delayed even more. Last week I had a build week of Nov 7 and chat told me today my build week is Nov 14.

I don't understand how so many hybrid orders placed after mine have already been delivered, but as they say "it is what it is". At this point, I almost wish I would have left off the FE package and got bumped to December 19th too. Getting a 2023 would be better than this. :(
