Hey, y'all-
I've been lurk-reading this forum for months.

Nov 11 21 order. XL, Carbon Grey, zero bells or whistles.

A week ago, my dealer emailed to say, "ZOMG 2023 orders are going fast order NOOOOOOWWWW!!!!!!" and I didn't respond. Two days later, I get an email from Ford saying my 2023 order is confirmed--dealer went ahead and put in an order for me. I called, he called back and left a voicemail, and said 'your 2022 didn't get scheduled so I went ahead and rebuilt it as a 23..."

I was livid. I was this GD close to getting the vehicle I wanted at the price I have a contract for, and he REBUILT it? And then the guy went on vacation and I couldn't scare him up.

Last night I got another email from Ford. Subject: Your 2022 Maverick XL Order.

I have a Nov 12, 2022 scheduled production and a VIN.

I cannot wait to shed the black hole of fossil fuel that is my F-150.

You should have been happy your dealer was looking out for you and placed an order. If you did not get your 22, it would save you $2750 on a 23.

Interesting your build date is Nov 12th, that's a Saturday.

And we know everything Ford tells us is true. /s Like when they told us other than constraints, they will build the Mavericks by order date.

Regardless of issues we all have with Ford's handling of the Maverick, a VIN is a VIN and the truck is going to be built. That was the point.

EDIT: Ford Chat yesterday said no change, still 10/17 build week. After surfing related threads, I'm not going to do a happy dance until I see my window sticker. Too many reports of November build weeks.

Lucky you - I've been pushed from 10/17 week to 10/24 week to 10/31 week and today I got pushed again to week of 11/7. Running out of weeks!!

I'm a broken man! My build week of end of Sept, and then 9/29 build date has been steady for over a month; and I have been ordering accessories. However, I called Ford customer service this morning, and was told I now have a build week of Oct 31! ( Ordered 11/1/21: V blu Hybrid XLT, CP360, hitch, mats) No email from Ford.

Tonight(9/27) I received the infamous Tues PM Ford email, finally showing the "In production" status, but with a build week of Nov 11 (~ 54 weeks after order). Doubtful I will get it before Christmas.
So it seems almost sure '22 models will still be in production past Nov 11.

Friday night I received an email stating that my Maverick will be built on the week of Oct 31. Tonight around 2030 I just received another email it will now be built on the week of Nov 7. WTF!

LOL. I just got pushed again. Week of 10/10. So maybe a Thanksgiving pickup if things dont get delayed further.

Nov. 4 order date, hybrid xlt w/tow hitch, originally scheduled for 10/17 then 10/10 now just got an email changing it back to 10/17.

People may still be getting scheduling notices, but likely it's because they were scheduled weeks ago and now are at the point where they've been schedule to a day at which point the notification is sent.

Moved another week back...4th production date. Now week of 10/17...LOL. Last date was week of 10/10 (before that week of 10/03). I guess I will be getting an email each week until it is actually built!
