Loving the software updates so far👍
I'm just kidding. Sort of. Maybe? As a retired software engineer here, you should FEAR those software updates.

OTOH, you should wipe your forehead with relief that at least they weren't written by me.

Does anyone know if updating will reverse any forscan changes that I've made?

Since this is just like the tech updates only OTA now - it should reset any changes in the modules being updated.

There are system and user changed values that I'm sure are listed and logged to record back after the upgrade (like what is your MyView or Trip1 fields shown), but other ASbuilt items would be highly doubtful a tweaked value would make it.

I had trouble getting CarPlay to work today. I don't know if it's related to the update.

What is a 13 mph thunk? I hear a thunk when I turn the steering wheel when I turn to the left mostly. But it happens when I am traveling slower than 20 mph. Of course it doesn’t happen all the time and didn’t happen when I took it to service.
thanks
Here are a couple of thread I started that have some good information on the thunk, clunk or thud:)

My 25 Lariat was just in the dealer few days ago , they had it 3 days, had a bunch of warning lights coming on including check engine light, they would go off when vehicle sat over night, I would lose power steering when this happens steering wheel wouldn't return, this happened about every 200 miles 3 times waiting for a loaner car, they said it was a software update? well see in 200 miles.
Also had a mild THUNK as you call it, from dead stop the first foot of movement, they said its normal in a hybrid, going from electric to engine, they drove the vehicle over 20 miles so they must of heard the thunk, noises like that are not normal, but I have never owned a hybrid before so we will see only have 2k miles in 4 months. Any of you Hybrid guys hear that Thunk off the line, its not a loud thunk but sometimes you can feel it in the floor, BTW I drive like a old man because I am, am very lite on the gas and a retired Mechanic backin the day that moved to management, I know thumps/thunks. Am not familiar with hybrids.
Sorry I changed the subject; I must have all the latest software because they updated it and something feels different, [can't put my finger on it] for the better.
The doors lock at 13mph, can't be that simple.

Let's hope whatever they updated did the trick for you and please keep us updated on it. I have a 25 Hybrid AWD but my thunk happens when slowing down right at the 13 mph mark - slowing down either braking or coasting mine and many other's trucks are doing it. You have noticed a thunk coming the rear when slowing down to around the 13mph mark? I can hear mine with my radio up at a normal level but it's really loud if I turn my radio down. I do not have a thunk from a dead stop so not sure if what you are hearing is normal or not?

Here are a couple of threads I started (including a poll) about the 13mph thunk when slowing down if your interested:

Didn't drive the truck yesterday but a similar message popped up on my screen this morning for an update at 1 am tomorrow. Still getting a chatter when going from slight deceleration or coast to slight acceleration so maybe it will address that. If not, I'm expecting a call from the local dealer when parts come in for the dash airbag light recall and will ask them to check the chatter then.

I got the update overnight. I don't really see any changes other than my "brake coach" setting was reset so I had to disable that again.

No thunk but then I didn't have it before.

Don't trust these guys as far as you can throw them.

Thunk going from EV to ICE - they've not driven one yet then. Shouldn't happen.

Got the update this morning! Could be my imagination but seems to drive even smoother with a little more pep!
