New Maverick XLT Missing Bed Liner

I ordered my XLT Maverick with the Luxury package over a year ago. I finally received my truck on Monday 9/25/23. When I looked over the truck I noticed the Hard drop in bed liner which is included in the Luxury Package was not there. I asked my sales associate about it and he talked to a "Manager" that said it is not included but it is very clearly on the Ford Price and Build webpage under the XLT luxury package option. Yesterday I emailed the dealer and pointed out the webpage reference, no response. Today I decided to call Ford customer relations. After being bounced back and forth between Customer service and Marketing ( 6 times) and disconnected once I was finally given a Case Number. Now I'm curious to see if I'll get any response. Maybe next I'll call the dealers ( Olathe Ford, Olathe Kansas) General Manager and point out the webpage to him. I just spent over $30K and I expect to get what I paid for.
Has anyone else had issues like this and was it resolved to your satisfaction?

2023 XLT Lux pkg

Remote start and bedliner were not included in 2023 XLT Luxury Package. Cost was reduced, you did not pay for what you did not get.

Everyone says it was removed from the XLT Luxury package but.... it was still on the 23 build page as late as last week and it shows up on the 24 build page. Ford advertised it, on the FORD corporate website, as being included so I want it.

It was clearly defined as being removed and discounted for 2023 in the order guide, there was an option to add it later with the bed rails but you had to modify the order after the fact as another add-on package. 2024's went on sale some time ago so likely the website changed to be commiserate. Good luck getting it, but I'd say you have a 0.00001% chance.

When the 2023 order banks were open, the website still had the 2022 details on it. Should your dealer have told you? Yes. But that's how it goes. They took the cost of it out of the lux package though if I recall.

My 2023 was a cancelled 2022. They dropped a bunch of stuff from the lux package in 2023, so I had to have my dealer re-add my bedliner, remote start and the bedrails because of it. It's not a huge deal, frankly you can get a spray in done for less than Ford's locally most likely.

In the few days order banks were open in 09/22, the build configuration website was still set to MY22 options and pricing. The MY23 Build and Price website was not live until October 4th, so you were still seeing 2022 options.

Just wait until those who ordered a 23 XLT with luxury package, but rolled over to 2024, start getting their trucks without heated wipers, keypad, etc. There will be unhappy buyers then as well.

I ordered a 23 XLT with the luxury package, and I left off the SIBL until January 23. Once they ran the free D link deal ($225 option), I added back the SIBL as you got that and the D link system for $495.

The SIBL was definitely part of the 23 XLT with Luxury Package. That is what came with my truck. It was dropped for 24 and replaced with the DIBL.

SIBL wasn't included. If you got it, then you paid for it as a separate add on.

Yes... MY2023 was handled poorly by Ford, no doubt... With the website lagging behind it was up to buyers to get info from their dealers (hardly ever ends well) or search sites like this one for information (many had the order, pricing, and package guides the 2nd day of order banks opening). The good news is that the bedliner is something that can be added at a minor cost. it's not like it was something removed that can only be installed on the assembly line..

Understand your disappointment. There will be many folks with MY2024 XLTs w/ the Luxury Package that will have the modular drop-in bedliner that they will be looking to yank out to perform a 3rd party Spray-In bedliner... So, should be some brand new ones on the 2nd hand market very soon.

Every vehicle has some type of change each model year. Dealers are notified but many are ignorant of the changes. Buyers need to take some responsibility of researching what is going on before spending $30,000.

Just ask the dealer to gift you it. I got mine for $334 from Ford. They can scrape $334 from dealer cash or off the invoice profit to make you happy. Shame on them if they can’t make it happen.

I really can't add anything to the post that have shown you that there was not liner included.
I would say gather all your paperwork you have from your order paperwork to the sale paperwork. If you can find a bed liner in those docs .. show that to your dealer; otherwise, let us know what liner you ended up purchasing and show us pics.... we love pics!!! We demand pics!!

Hi Pete, I ordered a 2023 xlt (Oct 2022) with xlt package, my bedliner was listed as $400 extra. Should receive vehicle in next two weeks....

Mine didn't come with one either and It's a 23 Lariat Lux

Me too, I got the same truck. I had to buy mine $435 plus tax, plus my dealer wanted $265 to install it, I did it myself.

If you review the 2023 order guide dated 9/12/2022 under the Major Product Changes page it clearly states both Spray In and Drop In bed liners are optional for the XLT and not included.

For 2024 the drop in is now included. My 2023 XLT Maverick Hybrid is currently in production, being this late and so close to 2024 production it will be interesting if it arrives with the 2023 options now discontinued, I ordered the sliding rear window and I wonder if they will cut the key pad from my 2023.

I ordered my 23 in September of 22 and received my truck in February of this year an XLT with LUX package. Ther bedliners were an option. I only bought LUX for the heated seats and steering wheel. I wish they just had a winter package. I also added a block heater.
