You guys are killing me!!
Just when I think I am done adding stuff, I see something else I just HAVE to get.
I wonder how the smoked with amber bulbs would look on a Shadow black Mav???
Please let us know if you get them. I have the same idea for my SB Tremor and would love to see how it looks. :like:

I ordered the smoke to go on my carb gray. I have the lasfit amber led marker lights so I think it will look clean and not stand out when the lights are off but still get the amber to show through and be legal when they're on.

I bought a pair of these a couple of months ago. I decided not to use them because they're non-reflective unlike OEM, so I don't agree with the OP that they are of equal quality. Function is equally as important as looks to me.

Gotta agree there, half the function of these is to reflect when someone is approaching from the side and your lights are off. How much harder would it have been to make them reflectors?!

FYI - you could get a piece of black Scotchlite reflector tape and stick it to the black plastic lip below ...

Fun fact: the hood stripes on 2025s with the BAP option are Scotchlite ... for reasons I guess? Maybe so you're more visible to airplanes ... 😄

The inside of the original ones - at least the ones that I have are gray. There is no reflection in the housing itself. The lense is textured for reflection, however so are these new ones.

However, to each their own. I really like the new ones.

No, they're textured but they do not reflect. It's easy enough to test this with a light. OEM lenses (not housings) reflect brightly and these don't reflect at all.

I'm glad you like them, I just thought people should know they don't function like OEM.

Hmmm, in my opinion, the new ones do appear to reflect.
However I think it is best to just agree to disagree :) and let others decide if these lights are for them.

It's a fact that they don't reflect. I don't agree with your opinion on the matter. Of course it is up to others if they are for them or not. I've not told anyone to not buy them.

The lens is clearly a Retroreflector design (also called a Reflex Reflector) using corner cubes, but it doesn't appear to be a very effective one. They also don't have the proper markings indicating compliance with the standards for such -- "DOT SAE" doesn't mean much without the markings "A" (SAE J495 Reflex Reflector) and "P2" (SAE J592 sidemarker for vehicles less than 2032mm in width).

Note: Aftermarket auto parts in the US are not approved by anyone -- the manufacturers self-certify that their product is compliant with the standard. Even if the correct markings were present, they could lie.

Anyway, these side markers are far from OEM quality in my opinion. They aren't terribly effective and the bulb socket didn't fit very well. I won't be surprised if the clear lens turns yellow in a few years. But I understand they look cool and they're cheap.

To anyone who buys these, please spend another $5 on amber LEDs -- they're a lot cheaper than a ticket.

Nice find, I'm usually in favor of smoke but the clear fades almost perfect with the Carbonized Grey paint. Is the housing inside reflective, it looks like just black ABS which certainly helps the look. Also, is bumper removal needed to install or just pull back the fender liner?
Just pop them out from the rear of the lense. Very easy. Don’t forget to protect your paint.

I found and purchased these front marker lights on ebay from SpeedPro for $35!
They have clear and smoked.
I purchased the clear ones.
The quality is just as good as the OEM and the fits just as well as OEM.

I really like the design/style of the lense.
This is a GREAT deal!

It totally changes the look of the truck - and I am so glad I got rid of those ambers.
I will update if I ever get pulled over for these not having amber bulbs. :)

I have attached comparison pictures.
