This is getting looked at again next month when the truck is due for an inspection and oil change. I got a better video today that has the sound three times at the 2, 12 and 14 second marks. This was in a flat and newly paved parking lot. Just posting it here for everyone's viewing pleasure.

I know it would take some effort, but if you have a Go-Pro use a magnetic mount and place it in a few areas before your test drives. May help narrow down the exact place of the clunk.

I actually had that thought recently but not sure it's worth buying a Go Pro just for this purpose. Hopefully I can find a dealership that will actually find and repair the problem.

I've been listening more closely for this sound and it might be coming from the rear... I took a look and there appears to be a leak where the driver's side axle goes into the RDU. A picture of the passenger side is for comparison.
Did the noise move to the rear after the dealer rotated tires? If so, maybe a tire is a suspect in the mystery?

I understand that! More of a shot in the dark that you had one already.

That's a good idea but it doesn't seem to move with tire rotations. My ears seem to play tricks on me but it mostly sounds like it's coming from the passenger front area. Since I have shuddering and odd shifting I'm wondering if it might be the PTU since that's in the same area.

Seems slow enough since in parking lot, but the turning has you slowing down more.
Can you get the same effect slowing down straight line in the same easy manner the turns cause?

Wondering if it's something with the AWD system actually.
We already know about the 13 MPH clunk on some as you slow down and AWD is engaged.
Maybe there is some engagement at other speeds depending on steering wheel turn.

I occasionally hear the noise when creeping along slowly in traffic, in a straight line while going over a crack in the road or over a bump.

That's a possibility. I have tried "shaking down" the sway bar and links and I haven't been able to get any movement or noise but could still be an issue.

I'll add this noise to my appointment next month as well. Sounds like it's coming from the rear, likely the RDU. In the video I'm switching between Drive and Neutral and the squeaking sound is when it goes into Drive. I also hear that noise when taking off from a stop, when each of the first 2-3 shifts occur and while stopping when the final 2-3 downshifts occur.

OP, Try dropping the rear seat-back to see how that sounds!
