Front End Clunk

Hey community,

I have a ‘23 maverick eco boost with 24,000 km on it.

I have noticed while making right turns and also at times when braking I hear a clunking noise coming from the front end.

I have taken it to the ford dealer and they inspected it and found nothing wrong and sent me on my way.

the front end continues to make noise…….. maybe it’s just me but it seems to be making more frequent noise.

Is noisy front end just part of maverick ownership? That’s the idea I got from the dealer.

Get a 2nd opinion from another stealership or independent shop you trust.

Yours might be a different clunk, but my passenger front side has a clunk over bumps. I've looked at it, Ford tech did too. I don't see anything loose down there. I think it's a bushing. I may spray some deep creep on the spring and control arm bushing. I'm also considering just doing a torque check on all those bolts.

If you've ever noticed an old Ford Explorer drive by, you know those suckers clunk like mad and they're over 25 years old so I'm not too worried about it.
