I don’t know if I would have. I love the Maverick but the longer this goes and the more issues they have the more frustrating it is. This is my first new truck and it was very exciting. Not now so much.

Well, I literally ordered last week two days before the cutoff. So, absolutely! I do feel bad for all of you who have been waiting 6 months+. But now that everyone knows how messed up this whole process is I didn't go in expecting a truck anytime soon.

Bottom line: get me the truck by this fall and I'll be happy.

nope...but then again there is no other high mpg hybrid truck on the market.

I would order again in a heartbeat and I fussed and complained about it several times. Nonetheless it's the times we are in. I was NEVER upset with my dealer, I believed they did all they could. Ford needs to be straight up when production hits a snag or the find an issue that a truck is being held for a reason. If I had known it would have made it so much easier to accept, because I knew they wanted to get it right. But you get a ship notice and then nothing for 2.5 months and the dealer knows nothing. That isn't an acceptable way to do business.

I joined this forum 7/21 when I first became interested in the Maverick Hybrid truck.

I used the information from various threads during that time to learn how to properly place an order, priority code, constraints etc and watched Tim's videos learning as much as possible to not make mistakes.

Because of doing that I ordered my Maverick XLT Hybrid on 8/23. Then did a few adjustments to the order because of constraints. Got scheduled on 9/16, built on 11/30 and delivered on 12/13 with absolutely no surprises.

So to answer your question yes this forum and Tim's video's greatly helped in procuring my Maverick and of course I still would have ordered.

Yes! Since my deposit is refundable, it has cost me nothing to place an order. It's obvious I haven't found anything else that suits my needs at a price I am willing to pay, because I haven't canceled the order.

Absolutely.

But i would have ordered from 3 or more places and ordered right away instead of hemming and hawing for 3 months.
